This is another 3.5 album for me. Never wanted to skip tracks, but it didn't really stand out, either. Interesting that I had one of Morrisey's solo albums a couple days ago. This Smiths album was notably better.

Pretty solid 80s synth pop sound. Weird to bury the best track at the end.

I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. Solid 80s sound, but there just wasn't a song that grabbed me.
Rated 8/10
Really enjoyed this one when it was new, and again now. A couple tracks feel like filler, but the majority are really fun.
Rated 4/10
I don't mind the political lyrics, but the music is just so generic that it is uninteresting.

I’d probably give this one a 3.5 if I could. Pretty solid if not that memorable.

Yacht rock gets a bad rap in my view. This is expert musicianship, production and fun, all wrapped up with some interesting lyrics about fallout shelters, among other things.
Never heard of this one. Interesting, but probably not a repeat listen for me.

Not a huge fan of Cheap Trick. This recording has never sounded great to me either.

I got this album the day after Brian Wilson died... spooky! I don't think I'd ever listened to this. Not quite the high of Pet Sounds, but still great. Very different from their earlier work.
Rated 4/10
The opening tracks were not bad, but it started to lose me as it went along. Too much random noise and noodling.
Rated 10/10
Total classic. One of the best hip hop albums of all time. This is what party should sound like.
Rated 4/10
Some strong editing and producing might have helped.

It's fine, just not my style. I was pretty bored early on.
Rated 10/10
Genius. Several of his greatest songs are on this one.
Rated 8/10
Really fun new wave sound. I'd never heard this before, other than 'Cars'. I was drumming along all the way through.
+1 protest vote for simply too many Elvis Costello albums on this list. One EC album, or preferably none, would be a great improvement. So many fantastic albums are not on this list to make room for his entire catalog, it seems.
Solid 50s sound, nice harmonies. Don't get hung up on the sometimes shallow lyrics, just enjoy the vibe.

I am a fan of Eno as a producer or other acts, but I never really spent time with this one. It is certainly interesting, but not something I think I'd ever come back to.
Rated 8/10
This really grew on me as it went along. Hard, fast, loud - would be great to work out to.
