This is a foundational album and I am not into it.

This is a really cool hip electronic album. Jean Leloup's Dirty Talk is a weird song. But its like a DJ's DJ record. Lots of crazy samples all over the place. Stepchild is also super fun. With a song with tons of references to the Muppets, what isn't to like on this thing?!

New Sensation and Devil Inside is a gnarly track 2 3 pairing. Then into Need You Tonight? Are you kidding me? This is such an awkward spot for music for me. It's almost charming but there is something just so.......

a cool gaelicesque folk ensemble serving that crispy soulful 90s melange. Like Dave Matthews without the pretention.

A cool modern pop punk album. Loads of familiar tones in this one.

Okay some prog metal. Change was good. The whole thing didn't feel super distinctive from like a Tool or a Dream Theatre album.

This album is pretty everywhere. Drifter In The Dark is set up nicely. Goddamn this album is all over the map! what the heck am i supposed to do with this thing.

I love this fucking album. The sampling is so atmospheric and the DOOM's flow is so natural.

This album is outrageous for 1998. What a tastemaker this album became. As a dyed in the wool not indie kinda guy, i appreciate the crap out of this album. I don't know that I love it, but the impact alone is huge.
