Great organ tone. Karen Carpenter has a SOUND. Her delivery is so free, its a little unnerving. Baller Help! and Close To You covers. Really cool, will need a revisit.

This is quirky. Jump, Jive, An'Wail is a rock solid rock steady standard. You Rascal You is also very fun.

This is a pretty cool, though very sexual boogie groove early 70s album. I wouldn't say there is anything really ground breaking or a lot that I personally take away from this, other than Tim is horny, but its as good as some of the other brit pop trash that's in this list so w/e.
Cool mashup of style on this record. Rocketship is a good song. So is Dynamite Lover. So is Hot Shot. Swampy, bluesy, punk, definitely the blues. Fuzzed out vibes on R.I. Got Soul.

There is so much production on this and I'm not a huge fan. These songs feel so lifeless. Bang The Drim Slowly into J'ai fait tout is the opposite of a good one two in the middle of the album. One Big Love was the first song I genuinely enjoyed. What a disappointment!

This is really not my bag.
Freedom is good. Cowboys And Angels is a bedroom smoker, though it feels maybe a little too soft to convey a real emotional depth about sorrow. In general, this feels too saccharine, too flabby, and just not my speed.
Rated 10/10
YES!!!! Roundabout is almost enough to make this a 5 star album by itself. South Side Of The Sky is another banger track. Long Distance Runaround feels pretty applicable to me today. Mood for a Day is really soothing. Heart Of The Sunrise is not my favorite but not enough to keep me from 5 stars on this one.

This is the most approachable Waits album I have heard yet!
Rated 6/10
Bryan Ferry sounds good on the first track!?! sort of like a knockoff bowie sound on this record. Bitter Sweet is where this album hits a brick wall. Why oh lord is there a sousaphone here? The whole thing is pretty tolerable otherwise.
Rated 8/10
This is pretty peak dad music. The shredding on Black Queen rips and it sounds like a song from the 90s done by like Pearl Jam or someone.
A Change Is Gonna Come is a soul classic. Some solid covers but its so foundational that it comes off as sort of bland?
Rated 8/10
Love the vocal texture on Slow Burn. Butterflies is a pretty on the nose country love song that does a good job with its earnestness. It's almost cloying but some clever lyric play keeps it just shy of it for me. Space Cowboy walks a similar line for me. Kacey is a very clever lyricist.
Rated 6/10
Honky Tonkin all the way home. Wild Side Of Life is a good tune. If She Could See Me Now is another good one.
Rated 6/10
The opening to Sunday Bloody Sunday kills. The singles on this album are very potent. This is a really tight, strident sonic package. Drowning Man is not my cup of tea though.
Rated 2/10
late 60s Floyd is not my personal favorite Floyd. Interstellar Overdrive is just 60's noodling and I am not into it.
Sick little brazil jazz album. If. you want a dive on bossa nova, start here.

Ok budget Coldplay lets go. Words into There Goes The Fear is really weird but I don't hate it. Satellites is a nice song. Yea a budget coldplay album

Hey I love this album! You can't listen to De Camino a La Vereda and not have a smile on. Make that this whole album makes me smile.

Absolutely loving the fuzz on The Weekend Starts Here. The beat on First Down also gets me groooooooooving. The whole album is just a fun groovefest.
