Kick, Push was a hit back in the day. I don't know its just not my thing, like a little too soft to be gangster, but not quite as story telling vulnerable as Drake and the people who came up after. And the sampling just feels soulless. The outro being 12 minutes is just a bunch of shout outs? get wrecked. Shout out to Myspace?! I might ding 2 stars just because of how ridiculous this is.

Red rain is a strange way to kick an album off. Sledgehammer is exactly that. Is that Kate Bush on Don't Give Up? Only love can make love is a good line on That Voice Again. Your Eyes another monster hit. Good album!

Yea wow this is terrible. Sueisfine is the first song to actually interest me. The back half of the album is like listening to the foo fighters through a busted up CRT TV. God this was BS

Karma Chameleon is a song that totally fucks. The consistency of the latter new wave bops makes for a really enjoyable effort. Really timely album to get on the Eurostar to jolly old Londontown. The album never goes from good to great for me though, so a 4 it is.

A totally solid album. A little too mealy mouthed in the beginning with it's social British for my taste but the grooves and hits are where it's at. Escapade was a total banger.

Man, whatever the heck this is. Its sad boy brit singer songwriter but make it F A N C Y. Some good tracks, but really not anything I resonated with in any way. "Play it for me, guitarist" is about how I feel about this whole thing.

The early 70's had so much cool shit going on. One notable exception to this was the fucking Stones. Their boring over the hill blues rock sucks ass and I hate it to this day. Oh and they recorded this album while they were being tax cheats in the south of France. Yeah fuck this album and truck this band.

Conditional 5: be in a french laundromat on a rainy day. This album hit the spot in a really cool and weird way

The boys went all out with this one. The album is both fat dope lines, sick beats, wild samples, introspection, and kicking it old school. Only the haters give less than a 5.

I'm super into this. The concept is stellar, each track super distinct and yet functions as a clear distinct whole. The jungle beats are interspersed with a very tasteful and well executed indian sound blends and instrumentation. Great record.

This mix goes hard. I totally get why this was such a formative album and group for a lot of people. Damn this tight. But yeah it does get old after a few songs. Like too much Mac and Cheese. The first bites are great but then you realize that the plate just keeps going and you can only hate your mom so much.
