This album is kind of rubbish. I just don't see the appeal yet. How is it that these guys were the rivals of Oasis? How is this album any better or more important than any of the million other Brit rock albums this list has?

Big time boom type stuff. Guillotine (Swordz) grabbed me. The mythology of the Wu Tang stuff is just so deep and convoluted. Ice Cream is another good one. Without a deep dive into the lyrics, I cant see the full depth of this album. Grooves are great though.

Hell yeah baby. Tarkus is a wild ride start to finish. Honestly this album goes so many places and throws so much at you it's hard to full wrap your arms around it. A Time And Place rules.

Oh god. I would prefer to not meet Bruce in Atlantic City. This album is full of songs of losers, outcasts, good people caught in the jaws of America in the late 70s and 80s. Its just that I am sick of Bruce's pervasive pessimism. Every person is a victim of the system, every thing is broken down, and all his characters are just stuck.

Some really classic songs on here like In The Street and Thirteen. I prefer the covers though. Speaks to the quality of the bones on this record.

The end of Facelift was a drag. Slightly All The Time is on a more approachable level, and was interesting and enjoyable the whole way through. Moon In June was also like that. The synth work on Out-Bloody-Rageous is nuts for 1970. Really i liked 3 out of 4 songs, so not bad.

geeeeez this sounds like elementary school. In Da Club still hits. In general, I don't think 50 has a flow that I like. its very choppy and I'm not a huge gansta rap guy. 21 Questions is a good crossover RnB song.

oh man this sample library is pretty low fidelity, which makes me think I'm in for a ride on the cheese express. the bass tone is great though. Desepoir has a pretty cool intro. There is this infectious drive to it, which is nice. oh but the CHEEEEEEESSSSSEEEE sounds. lord save us.
