the songs on here are very well written, unfortunately it seems like she lost most of the sheet music on the way to the studio and all that was left was piano. ive always found that its hard to carry an entire song on the back of a piano, much less an entire album. the sparse instrumentation makes it hard to justify the length of the songs for me.

man fred really doesnt know when to quit does he? this couldve been a decent album; not a good album but a listenable one at least. the musics ok but the lyrics and vocal delivery bring the quality down significantly. then there is the issue of the length. that couldve been partially fixed by removing the last two tracks, the first of which was just a remix of another song from the same album and second of which was mostly just ben stiller laughing for nine minutes.

its a travesty they even have one album on this list much less a second one. this makes me wanna blow my shiii smoove off brother

i actually found this pretty engaging overall. there is some filler but this is one of the better electronica albums ive heard.

great voice, not very dynamic but the music is good. i was borderline on giving it a 5 up until charles couldnt stop laughing on one more dance. it really detracted from an otherwise interesting song and dropped it a full point for me.

im not sure if leonard is growing on me or not. i certainly prefer this over the other three albums ive had from him where most of the music consisted of barely strummed guitars. the music on this is very dated but actually went surprisingly well with his voice.

i knew the name but wouldnt have been able to tell you a single song by her. i immediately recognized the first song and realized this would be a long 45 minutes. she has a beautiful voice and the songs are soothing to listen to. it makes for very good background music but i struggle to imagine someone actively listening to this for pleasure.

these songs are pretty good but long overstay their welcome. if you cut a minute and a half off of each and added two or three more songs to make up the difference and this could be a four or five star album. as it stands, i struggled to stay engaged.

paul is a pleasure to listen to and a great songwriter. that said, these songs are fine but there arent really any standout songs on here. other than the fact that it was pauls first solo album and was recorded during the breakup of the beatles there isnt much notable about this album
