my first thought was why are there so many band members in blondie? second thought was hey this should be a fun album. and it was for a while. i dont think any of the songs were bad but some were definitely better than others. its not a long album but towards the end it was beginning to wear out its welcome
this album is full of half baked ideas and random noises. at one point i had to pull over because i thought something was wrong with my car but it was just the violently annoying sounds Frank decided to put on the record. the last song on the record is 6 and a half minutes of random sounds and yet somehow it sounds more coherent that some other parts of the record. i appreciate that it is satire and the few song ideas that feel more fleshed out arent bad but overall this was more annoying that enlightening. +1/2 star for the album cover
they made some terrible choices on this album. the only song i remotely liked was ironically titled "the wrong way". it would've earned them two stars if i hadnt accidentally listened to the version on spotify with the bonus track "you could be love". i usually try to keep my review to only the original album but this bonus track was so bad it soured my already negative perception of this album and i cant shake it.

fun early punk songs

this album was rough. there are some funky grooves on here but they are drowned out by vocals produced by a high school kid working at a mcdonalds drive through who is frustrated that you had the audacity to order a burger. with a different vocalist and better mixing this couldve been a great album.

didn't know what to expect from a live prog album based on a classical music suite but it was fantastic! there were some sections that leaned a little too heavy into the art rock side things to the point where it was almost just incomprehensible noise but it was for such a short duration i'll overlook it. the more annoying aspect of the album was the gratuitous amount of clapping left in on the last two songs which easily add 2 minutes to the runtime. despite that, i thoroughly enjoyed this album
This may be one of the best Christmas albums in existence. Unfortunately, it’s still a Christmas album

the skits really brought this down
quite mellow and relaxing

i liked this way more than i expected
i really enjoyed the majority of this album. the instrumentation is on point and the sound quality is good. that said, the song "lost someone" perfectly encapsulates what i hate about live albums. they took a 3 minute track and stretched it out to 10 minutes by repeating the same motif over and over while James rambles and provokes the audience to scream and shout. with the exception of that track and the medley that immediately follows it, the crowd noise isn't too bad but those two tracks really brought down the rating for me.

this was interesting. two solo albums smashed together under the outkast brand. both were enjoyable but the format really detracted here. the transition between big boi's album and andre's album was jarring even though i knew to expect it. it was also incredibly long, coming in at just under 2 hours 15 minutes.

we just had another album by the band a month ago. i liked this one more but it's still not great.

im doing a list of 500 essential pop punk albums and this album is on that list as well. to be honest im not sure this album should be on either list. i dont really have many complaints, this was fine as background music but i preferred their self-titled album that came out right before this one.
Rated 4/10
adele is a great singer, unfortunately that doesnt always translate to being someone who makes great music.
Rated 10/10
wow this one is unique. certainly not like anything id normally listen to
Rated 8/10
there are some really incredible tracks on here but the overall experience is pulled down by the presence of some not so great tracks. it was still an enjoyable listen
Rated 4/10
my fifth album in the crosby/stills/nash/young extended universe. as with the others i dont have much to say in the way of compliments or complaints. its extremely bland but its an easy listen given the short runtime. hopefully I dont have too many of these left on the list
Rated 2/10
wow, this certainly was one of the albums of all time. it had some tracks with great instrumentation and overall i thought the production was well done. despite that, i found myself counting down the seconds with over half an hour left in the runtime. the extended length makes the album feel like incredibly bloated mess full of half baked ideas. the genre feels like arcade fire covering bob dylan, which is another way to say that this may be the least listenable genres around. the thought of having to ever hear another song by Sufjan makes me physically ill and i pray that no more of his albums are on the list so i dont have to hear anymore of this hipster garbage.
