once again, 45 minutes is a bit too much but the specials are a fun listen for most of the runtime

decent music but i cant stand the growl scatting thing he tries to do. the first time it happens its interesting if a little weird and out of place. then it happens again and its just obnoxious. speaking of obnoxious id be remiss if i didnt mention the length. cut this in half and its decent 70 minutes is way too much

its not saying much but this is easily my favorite neil young album ive had so far

early britpop, which is to say its a little boring but its fine

not as good as the other entry from the beta band. decent enough but didnt need a second from them on the list

this isnt the normal taylor swift pop i was expecting. unfortunately this brand of trying too hard to be indie folk pop might legitimately be my least favorite genre. i was tolerating it but the collaboration with the national soured what little goodwill this had with me and the collaboration with bon iver at the end sealed the deal.

not one of my favorites so far but fairly accessible album considering the genre(s). i wish the list included more extreme genres like this more frequently

stone cold classic

very tepid album. its got great production and he has a good singing voice but the songs themselves are lacking. shave two minutes off of ever song and youve easily got a 3 star album but as it stands its way too long for what the songs have to offer.
