Just outstanding. The live recording, the staples, the remakes, the artistry. Amazing artist in his prime. Worth seeking out and listening to more than once. 4+

I get the progression and this is solid, but just not my favorite feel. A few good memorable ones in there and the musicianship is good. 3.

Man. Just not good. The vocals are overdone, the musicianship is messy, there is very little flow or identifying characteristics. Feels like a couple of moody kids in a basement playing with a synthesizer got a record deal. I am a big fan of post-punk and early 80's alternative (Yaz/New Order/ etc.) but this was not good. 1.

Forgot how good this album was. Recognized and enjoyed several songs... made me want to put on over the ear headphones and crank it up! 4
I enjoy me some Dwight. This was great listening and I would do it again, just not that different from his other stuff. 3.

Thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. Probably not the most influential, experimental, or critically acclaimed Beck album, but still good and worth seeking out from time to time. 3+
Nice. Listenable. Good writing. Good melodies - a little haunting. Could use more drive. Beat. To add heft. 3.

Early punk. Fleeting and angry. Okay, but not the dead milkmen... 2

Interesting departure for them and sounds like they were dragged into the political scene. Excellent representation and arrangement. Worth listening to and definitely a snapshot of the dichotomy of that time. 4

This is kinda like if Don Henley was a woman. Or, maybe Don Henley is kinda like if Bonnie Raitt were a man. Easy to listen to and somewhat enjoy, but nothing groundbreaking or even really very relevant. Her writing is good, but just not my jam. 3

A little too punk to be grunge. A little too rock to be emo. A little too disconnected to be alternative. Just misses. 3.

I mean, quite simply an unbelievable collection of writing, music, and message. Collectively taking you on a journey and individually some of the best songs written and recorded in the last 100 years. Can't be anything but a 5.
Rated 3/10
I mean... okay, but if they inspired the most overrated band ever (Oasis), then they don't deserve anything more than a 2.
Rated 8/10
I mean, it's The Wall. Epic, genre defining, with a message. Not my favorite, but respect.

Man. Spoken through and to a generation that connected Gen X through Grunge and Hip-hop and into the new century. Few albums are more of a watermark and even fewer are still adored and respected thirty years later.

I thought "Folktronica" was an interesting description for her music - although this album seemed much more in line with the Folk side - being close to the Lilith Fair crowd. Solid effort and I would definitely listen again. 3.

Meh. Prog rock at it's best is still just a 3 for me.
Rated 3/10
Interesting. I didn't mid it as background music. Nothing that really caught my attention spectacularly or would make me seek them out. 2.

I didn't even want to listen to this, but I did. With a little hope. Hope that they wouldn't be the whiny, overplayed, trite, bullshit that I used to think it was. That hope was dashed and I barely made t through without my ears bleeding. No thank you. 0.

This album could come out today and be a hit. Just a great mix of vocals, writing, experimentation, rock, and synth. Such a diversion from the Sugarcubes, but still quintessential Bjork. I'll do 4+
