Great straight ahead rock. A little loud and a little whiny, but so am I. While I do remember this album and band - and they set the stage for grunge, really, I don't think to put them on... but I will! solid 3

I mean... interesting. I think if I took the time to go through it again I would enjoy it more and it may grow, but generally didn't sound a lot different from other similar music. 2

It's a fine mix of post punk. He tries a little to hard on a few, but still listenable. You can hear some of the influences (The Cars, etc.) and somewhat of a desperation to be different. It woks on some, but not as much on others. 3.

Crazy good. The feel and the real. A few absolute killers and a few smooth and a few more experimental. Lyrics, beats, and flow are great for it's time while being influential and listenable. 4+

I mean... well written and well meaning. Fits well in his repertoire. Just not something I would seek out or think to put on a playlist. Musically, lyrically, and conceptually good. Solid 3.

Honestly great. The writing, the arrangements, the mix of rock, folk, & jazz. It was a culmination of learning from failure and incorporating new influences and musicians. It should probably be a 5, but as good as it is, it just hasn't been as influential or held it's importance over time as some others. Call it a 4+.

Just not a fan. English wanna be rocker with a scratchy voice. Never been convinced of any real talent. Occasionally fun to listen to, but so is Meatloaf... 2 Max.

Still underrated. Great rock album. Different than others in the same era with more heart. Solid 4.

I mean, interesting and folk straight from the heart... but they are just a little whiny and too melodic. I get the pioneering and experimental heart that gave license to the Doors and others to push further, but still just a 3 for me.

Really great. Not musically complex, but varied and exciting while still having a little rock edge. It's really a great frozen in time point on the map. The perfect album at the perfect time. Easy 4.

Not as great as I remember. Interestingly experimental, but they swung too far after White Heat and lost a little electricity and passion. Lou is always great... Probably should be a 4, but I'm feeling 3 right now.

Outstanding. Relatable, rocking, great guitar-driven alt rock with good writing. Might be their most listen-able album.

Very nice - grooving beats and strong message. A breakthrough in Reggae and influence on future generations. solid 3.
