Fine. It grew on me a little as it went. It’s kind of standard 80s new wave. The singer has a pretty good voice though, so that’s a plus.

I tried. Everything says he's a singer/songwriter - but this is fucking country music in disguise. I can't do it.

Surprisingly excellent. In my head, when I see My Bloody Valentine, for some reason I always think of Type-O Negative, probably because of Bloody Kisses (and the fact that I have never really listened to either band). Suffice it to say that this album is extremely different than I expected. I was taken aback at first, but I started liking it more and more as the album continued. Using my own personal rating system, would I play this album of my own free will? You know, if I were in the right mood? I just might.

“If you were a horse I’d clean the crap out of your stable and never complain” is an actual lyric. I have to listen to this stable full of crap, and I’m doing plenty of complaining. How the hell did this lounge singer shit make it onto this list?

It's OK, but a bit boring. It's mostly instrumental, so it's fine as background music but there's not much to say.

One of the very few classic rock bands to consistently live up to its reputation. This is a fantastic album filled with longing, wistfulness and regret. 4.5 stars that gets bumped to 5 because it is timeless, and it sounds like nothing but itself.

Before starting this project, I had often declared that I didn’t like 80s music. One of the things I’ve learned after 880 albums (ironic) is that the 80s actually had some absolute bangers!

This is not one of them. This album is straight ass. Shit like this is the exact nonsense that leads me to say that I don’t like 80s music.
