Not sure what I did to deserve listening to a Bjork album immediately after a Dylan album
Rated 2/10
3rd Dylan album and my opinion has not changed. Would rather listen to a wet dog fart than hear his voice
Rated 2/10
I would like a refund for the last hour of my life please
Rated 4/10
Moments of something amazing drowned by shit
Rated 8/10
Not even close To my preferred cup of tea but this was a surprisingly pleasant listen. Very fun
Rated 2/10
Started off sounding like trash and progressed into a landfill
Rated 8/10
The only low point on this album is Paper Airplanes and that's only because it was overplayed to death and back when it came out. Overall Killer album
Rated 6/10
I wanted to like it
Rated 6/10
Mostly solid album but the quality really dropped off the last few tracks
Rated 4/10
I initially thought the vocals weren't the greatest but I had heard worse. Elegia was quite enjoyable. Then the final track played and I couldn't believe how far the quality of everything just dropped. What a horrible way to end an album
Rated 8/10
Album felt instrumentally strong and lyrically weak for the most part. Glory box was a beautiful exception
Rated 4/10
An unremarkable album carried by an unremarkable overplayed single
Rated 8/10
Saw the music video for Magick when I was a young teen (MTV I think?) and it fucking haunted me. For whatever reason it just grossed me out and was very disturbing. It's stuck with me throughout the years. Watched it now as an adult when this appeared on my list and it still just disturbs me and twists my stomach up. The rest if the album is quiet pleasant and enjoyable to listen to. Magick itself is an ok song, definitely weaker compared to the rest of the album though
Rated 8/10
Lyrics are goofy and nonsensical as hell but the music tho... that bass line slaps
Rated 10/10
Bad is consistently amazing throughout its entirety. It's outstanding. Compared to an album like Thriller, which is held up by its singles, and the huge dance choreography and music video of thriller itself.
Rated 2/10
Never cared much for them but good god I'd rather listen to an asmr of a colonoscopy than whatever the hell this was
Rated 4/10
Impossible to overstate how influential Spears was back then. I remember baby one more time being played all over the place and the girls at school singing and mimicking her dance moves. Britney was only barely 17 when this album came out and the adult themes of love that she sings about is... unsettling. Gross, even.
Rated 2/10
Amazing lyricist that should've been born mute
Rated 6/10
Amazing voice but all the songs blend and blur together. Without looking at each track go by, I wouldn't be able to tell when one ends and another begins. All too samey
