The title track is undeniably one of the best songs ever. And Bennie and the jets is good too. Sometimes Elton has a theatrical quality that I don’t love, but I was in the mood today somewhat. But this album drags into that, and without the title track to look forward to, it’s hard to stay involved

So so good. Angry and bitter but introspective this album has some of my favorite emotional personal Bob Dylan songs. I like the bare sound compared to a lot of his other stuff at this time

I really like the sonic youth high points, but this album was mostly noise

This is a really great contrast to the previous two albums. Guitar virtuosity and classic rock sound but actually interesting and artistically valuable. I really love how it spreads across genres and the lyrics are really good

Pretty much sums up my view of football fighters: a couple of great songs hidden within an ocean of nothingness

StankoniaOutKast

Rated 8/10

Really great album and a good break from the west coast rap. I love how musical Andre’s voice is even when he’s not quite singing

As much as I’ve tried to get into nick drake, it always falls flat. A great singer, songwriter, and guitarist, but so boring

Chelsea GirlNico

Started off great, but then the medieval crap kicked in and made me upset. Why do they always have medieval stuff?

His first great album. One that requires multiple listens. Important to note he was like 22 writing these words. This is the album that set the stage for modern music that actually means something

The ChronicDr. Dre

Rated 8/10

This is probably my favorite of the west coast rap albums so far. Perfect blend of gangsta rap with the smooth west coast production. Dr Dre was so good. Bdatpes.
