Rated 8/10

That was pretty boring, actually. The music kept reminding me of other bands, only not as good. Toward the end of the album, there were a few tracks that I liked better and wanted to listen to a second time. Maybe I should listen to it more often after all. 4/5

Rated 8/10

I only knew Pearl Jam by name and had a completely different kind of music in mind when I thought of them. The album is good. I'm not entirely thrilled by it, but maybe that will come later when I listen to it again. 4/5

I liked the album at first. A powerful voice. Overall, the album would have benefited from being a little shorter. It got a bit annoying toward the end. 3/5

Opus DeiLaibach

Rated 4/10

In the mid-’90s, I discovered “Neue Deutsche Härte” through a Rammstein song. Back then, I found it exciting. That’s also when I first heard of Laibach. I really liked the rough sound of the genre back then. These days, though, I find the music unremarkable, the performances affected, and this constant flirtation with right-wing ideology annoying. It’s the same with the album. At first, I found a German version of “Live is Life” amusing. The longer the track—and later the album—played, the more it got on my nerves. In the end, I stopped listening to it altogether. It hasn’t been my taste for a long time now. 2/5

After checking the genre and reading a few reviews, I was really interested in the album. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. What I heard from the album was okay. It didn't really blow me away. 3/5

That was interesting. I don’t think this list necessarily has to include the 1,000 best albums in the history of global music. Just trying to come up with evaluation criteria for that would be a doomed endeavor. The list is clearly dominated by popular Western/American music. And that’s a good thing. In that sense, I find the “World” genre just as out of place here as, for example, modern works by Schoenberg or Stockhausen would be. Against this backdrop, this album also has little business being on the list. Nevertheless, I found it interesting to listen to this album as part of broadening my musical horizons. Although these Oriental-Indian harmonies aren’t to my taste, I admire the performer’s virtuosity. 3/5

Wow, that was boring. It must have been an exciting time back when I first heard this and thought it was pretty good. Did I need something to pass the time back then? Anyway, now it's just boring. 3/5

I wasn't familiar with the band or their music. It could have stayed that way, and I wouldn't have missed a thing. Now that I've gotten to know the band, I know I won't miss a thing if I never hear them again. Even if it's only a minor annoyance, I just don't care. 3/5

That was tough. Other reviewers have compared the album to Pink Floyd, NIN, and Reznor—all bands and artists I really enjoy listening to. I was curious. The very first track put me off so much that I couldn’t bring myself to listen to it all the way through. The second one reminded me of old NIN songs, but it didn’t win me over. It’s really hot today—maybe that’s why I’m not in the mood for anything radically new. I might give the album another listen after all. But that’s enough for now. 2/5

My streaming service didn't have the album. I listened to a few tracks on YouTube. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't interesting enough for me to want to check it out further. 3/5

When I was younger, Rod Stewart was only played with a few songs on the radio, which was my main source of music back then. And that was just fine. One of those songs was “Maggie May.” It was nice to hear it again. But that’s enough for a long time to come. 3/5

DestroyerKISS

Rated 4/10

I've always found KISS ridiculous in their weird costumes. Some of their songs were pretty fun at teen parties. Other than that, the band wasn't to be taken seriously. And that's how I'd describe the album, too: ridiculous. 2/5

I've made a new discovery here. I didn't realize until now that pop music could be so boring and annoying at the same time. Until now, I'd only known it to be either boring or annoying. 1/5

The Joshua TreeU2

Rated 10/10

U2's latest album in this project. My feelings about the band are a bit mixed. In my youth, liking this band was practically a must. I often found their music too saccharine and their stage presence too melodramatic. This album, however, brings back memories of times gone by that I cherish. And that's how I feel about this album, too. It might just be the band's best. 5/5

The album played in the background without me really noticing it. There was nothing that caught my attention. Boring. 3/5

Forever ChangesLove

Rated 4/10

I was familiar with the first track on the album. The rest was pretty boring. I don't need to listen to it again. 2/5

What the hell was that? Music like this is exactly why I avoid medieval markets. After just two songs, I couldn't take it anymore and turned that crap off. 1/5
