An incredibly funky post-punk album at places, but still with plenty of variety and other influences. Just recently discovered this band so happy I already heard this greate LP before, so this gives me more experience with it, rated 4.5 on RYM and strong 4 stars here. If they got all the best songs and squeezed downed the playtime it might have been even more.

This is not bad, but I'm sorry, I think one album from these guys is enough really. Decent stuff, probably same as the other album on the list in terms of stars, that is 3

Seriously super repetitive, I would replace this with Max Roach freedom suite as there's barely any jazz on this list. Seems this is more of a political driven addition rather than on it's own merits cause musically it's quite boring, 2 or possibly 3 stars. But I am still on the holiday and not fully concentrating on these items lately so it's on me. perhaps I will revisit this project at some point

Never heard of these guys before surprisingly. Sounds like a decent 60s folk rock album, probably right in the middle of the street for me with 3 stars. Not terrible, not great either

Decent stuff, not as good as I imagined an oferring from Common would be. It drags a bit, but then again today is my first day back in Lithuania on holiday and feeling a bit distracted, at least 3 stars for sure. I will have to REVISIT this one, probably 3.5 on RYM?

Wasn't aware of this Beach Boys record and yet I'm presently surprised by this. Memorable hooks and generally very pleasant recording, deserving 4 stars probably

Ok, quite pleasently surprised with young Bjork's band. This is pretty cool post punkish record, some b-52, some talking heads influences for sure with interesting delivery of Bjork. At least 3 strong stars for sure.

One of those albums which really made me super interested in Prog and I owe it that, cover is beautiful and just for Tarkus title track this is getting 4, so I will spend some time today listening to side 2 for sure.

Apparently this one seems polarising here looking at reviews and for some reason most of positive ones are just scoffing at some perceived racism from more negative reviews? WTF indeed. Now onto main review: I was expecting not to like too much or even hate modern soul artist. But honestly so far I am quite enjoying this, some really memorable highs, production not surprisingly is great as is usually the case with this kind of super popular music. Maybe my only gripe is the rhytmic ideas are just not that interesting to me in most modern music, they sound too simplistic. However, still, I am quite enjoying this and will be looking forward to hear his biggest album. This is for sure one to REVISIT like with Ms. Badu which I enjoyed even more, but I will still at least give it 3, shit, maybe even 4 stars?

Nice! One of the architects of the alternative rock right there and this is their breakout album. Although I have to say after discovering their early days, I think that's there it's at, so I wish this list would have more albums from their early career besides Murmur. I know this is a strong 4 stars for sure, we will see if I give 5 or not.

A vaguely familiar name. Music is alright, a bit monotonic and repetitive although, I feel some krautish influences which is always a plus for me, but so far after listening to the whole album nothing stood out too much, so maybe 2 or 3 stars at first glance.

Just on the 1st listen this morning to work and I am already thinking this might be the best modern R&B album I have heard on this list, she is sick, and I am too, but not in a good way. P.S. I knew coming into this, that it will at least be 3 stars, but really I think I will be giving this album a 4 stars, it's really that good. I will be REVISITING her in the future for sure.

What a wonderful, mesmerising work of art, the highest grade. Every time I heard Dummy it always stays and sounds fresh, everything about it is wonderful and I could not give it less than 5 stars, how would that even be possible?

One of the greatest hip hop albums of the last 2 decades for sure. Fascinating lyrically, flows nice and a lot of memorable moments. 4.5 on RYm, probably 5 stars here

Very cool, enjoyable listen. However, not nearly as memorable as what I have heard listening to Tito Puente. Furthermore, I would just like to add that I hate this silly label 'salsa', reminds me of 'world' music, why don't we call irish folk music 'potato' music, how idiotic is that. Probably 3 stars

Already rated their debut as 4.5 on my RYM so not sure, could go either way today. Also my hangover turned into fever and I'm afraid my mental capabilities are not up to speed yet today.

I'm a bit hungover today, this is quite a great album to listen on the days like these.. But I have already rated this as 4.0 on RYM so probably 4 stars here as well, 2nd side is much stronger than the 1st one.

I was waiting for a long time to finally get Tom to listen on this list. Not sure what more can I say about this - a brilliant, beautiful, highly original album. Among his best, super 5 stars. So many horrible reviews on this don't even make me mad, just proves that most people are average simpletons, go and listen to swift if you can't handle anything a little out of ordinary you morons.

I always admired the theatrical flair of this. People like to use the term "rock opera", well this is the quintessential rock musical theater. Despite all of that, I don't find most songs to be super memorable, but it still is legendary and great album, 4 stars

I was waiting for this so much, such a brilliant and inventive work. Makes me laugh at reading some other reviews here and one guy said it best - do not be fuming if you get something out of an ordinary like this is, this should be the point of the list anyway. I guess some people are just happy listening to tons of mediocre indie rock albums on the list, well that's not me and I don't really give a ****. Clearly 5 stars, how can it be any less? Well 4.5 on RYM, but I could not give it anywhere less than 5
