Alright, so this is definitely something indeed. Heavy - yes, but also this is basically a blues album and I still think Sabbath earns the cake for the first metal album. But of course, this is very good, at least 3 stars for sure, and at least 3.5 on RYM, I imagine if I was rating this when it came around in 60s it would have a much bigger rating, but a lot has happened since then!

Already rated this magnificient R.E.M. album as 4.5 on RYM but it will definitely go up to 5 stars here, cause why the hell not? It's great man

Ah, your classic type of country, the quintessential country sound with that super twangy guitar sound which I do love. However writing-wise, there is nothing super special about it even though I do loke some work from Mr. Haggard. All in all, this is pretty alright, probably another 3 stars.

What a treat for this morning! Probably quite close to 5 stars, we will see. Yeah,. this must be 5 stars for me, incredibly influential and massive work, containing no big hits or singles but who needs them anyway? Raw garage rock at it's best

Only halfway listening through this, this morning, but obviously this is a monster of an album. I know for sure at the very least it deserves strong 4 stars, it's an amazing work of Hip Hop, greatly produced, great influences and for me, this is Hip Hop at its best. WE will see if it can reach top marks, but probably clear 4.5 on RYM.

Been waiting for this! Simply beautiful, breathtaking and ethereal, love it through and through, 5 stars. Not sure what else is there to say about this, angelic or unintelligible voice of a great frontmen or shoegazy textures which were a big influence on the genre. This was one of the greatest discoveries for me in the past few years.

This is truly an interesting one. On one hand, Newman is so clearly almost completely ripping off Kraftwerk, but on the other hand it's done so superbly, one cannot help but love this, probably easy 4 stars here

Absolutely essential album on the list no doubt! However, a bit embarrasing to admin, but I have never listened to the whole thing! Only know 2 big hits like Somebody to Love and White Rabbit so this should be an interesting journey, for sure at least 3 based on the hits alone. After listening to this, "Today" is sick track as well and album has a general great psyuchedelic vibe and is classic for a reason, probably at least 3.5 RYM and I will be generoius here and most likely round up to 4 stars.

Never heard of it, and it's not too bad, but this might be another 2 from me as I am way too generous on this list, and to be honest there is nothing much specialk about this record, it's not bad by any means but kind of average as well, could take it or leave it just fine.

Honestly getting pretty tired of this guy and many additions of him on the list, each one sounding like the last. To be fair, he's not bad, but then again one or two records is enough, so this time I won't be as generous and he gets 2 stars

Decent stuff, a band I want and already wanted in the past to revisit for sure, but this lacks me the highlights so far, so if nothing super cool happens - it's another 3. Really weird - in theory I should love Chicago but they're just about alright to me

Wow, damn did not expect roots! This is fun, even though I definitely prefer their earlier work before this, but this is a good album

Another Joni album, so can expect an unique and challenging listening experience. Listened once in the morning, which of course might not be enough to appreciate her work fully but so far I'm leaning to, as before, to 3 stars.

Alreaduy rated this great album 4.0 on RYM, so this is not much of a brainer for me. I love Lou, but I especially love what he did while in VU.. And don't get me wrong - this is an amazing album with a touch of Bowie of course. But for me, it's just not the full package and so I think it deserves 4 strong stars anyway!

Great great live album by a legendary hard rock act with all time classic tracks. But despite all that, I still mainly don't give top marks for live albums with only a few exceptions on this list, so for me, easy 4 stars.

So first of all, let's get this out of the way - this album is great no doubt. But anyone who's into jazz can clearly tell jazz albums in this list were added by someone who knows shit all about jazz and seemingly just picked a few albums from the top selling lists with some notable exceptions. Where's Lee Morgen, where's Blakey, where's Wayne? This is probably 4.5 album for me, but due to lack of jazz here I might round it up anyway. Brubeck is a good guy who knows what he's doing.

First time ever listening to Buckley senior and this is not at all what i would have expected seeing this name. Maybe this one is exception but we will see. Many people here are moaning about horrible lyrics, however, I, for once, am distracted by funkiness of this record to focus on that too much... Very enjoyable listen, at least 3 stars for sure.

2 great ones in a row, some miles yesterday and today a prog rock masterpiece. This is no brainer, another easy 5 stars. Love every single track on this one
