The music is incredibly repetitive and uninspired. The lyrics are a teenager's first draft of something edgy. Rhyming outside with inside? Really?

Queen seems to be very hit and miss. The great tracks are amazing, but the filler is entirely forgettable.

Honestly this is very, very, close to something I'd normally listen to, but those vocals... I just can't...

The WallPink Floyd

Rated 8/10

Giving this album 4 stars feels wrong, but I have just never enjoyed this as much as other Pink Floyd albums. The higlights are incredibly good, but it's such a long album.

Not really for me. I can almost see what he was going for, but it never really takes off.

I struggle with Dylan. I switch between hating his intonation, and being blown away by the complexity, but even if you strip all of this away, this is just an album of great tunes, and great performances. The drums on tangled up in blue absolutely earn a star in isolation.

I you chose to open an album with atonal, and non-rythmic, fake, badly tuned radio sounds for that long, you really, really, need to provide something of value for the rest of the album. These guys did not. A mix between experimentation and even worse The Beatles immitations. Apparently avant-garde, but closer to tuneless.

Live albums are not albums, they're merchandise for fans.
The performance on this is great. It's dad rock, but honestly it sounds like a concert I would have enjoyed attending. But I wasn't there, and listening to the crowd clap along doesn't improve the music in any way.

GoldRyan Adams

Rated 4/10

2 of my last 4 albums have been Ryan Adams. I did not enjoy them. This album is very long and very generic. It's not bad, but as an album it's a bit of a chore.

This seems to be trying quite hard, but honestly nothing really hits home. The lyrics are meant to be deep and witty, but they don't quite get there. The arrangements are aiming for Disney musical tunes, but only get to direct to video.

SisterSonic Youth

Rated 6/10

Not for me. Weirdly I did love other bands with the same sound, but Sonic Youth completely bounces off me.
