Look at the track listing, people! No, this isn't a 2 hour live album, it's only a 40 minute live album, and it's a very good one at that. Perhaps if I was a big Motorhead fan I could rate it even higher, but as it stands this was quite good for a band where I only knew the one song previously.

This is kind of awesome, actually? Saw a couple of people compare it to Alice Cooper who I generated yesterday, but unlike that album which felt too childish in its message, this is just a wild ride from start to finish.

Sounds like an album for children that want to drop out of primary school. The book describes it as "a graphic riot of stabbing riffs and seditious slogans", but I'm struggling to see where they found them.

First song was a bit of a stinker, but it got good once it moved towards a more trip hoppy sound. And there's a melodica too, how wonderful 🥺

Currently sitting at a 4.5, could move up to a 5 on a later listen

Saw them live a couple of months ago, it's impressive that in over 50 years neither of them have lost their energy and passion for performing these songs, and this album perfectly shows off that energy.

The only Beck album I've listened to previously was the 2017 one that no one liked, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into this. There was some lovely orchestration on this and while it was definitely a bit miserable, it wasn't as miserable as I was expecting, which was nice.

Don't really remember much from the first Tom Waits album I had, but I do remember it being nothing like this. I think his voice is better suited to doing weird songs like this. Plus, the other album didn't have a song that was in Robots 🤷‍♀️

For the longest time I thought these guys were a bunch of women. In my defence, if you saw a band called something like 'The Blowjob Brothers' you'd expect it to be full of men, no?

This is the kind of music that everyone claims is timeless, that it's one of the best albums ever made, that Respect is the best song every created (what?). When I listened to it, it did absolutely nothing for me. I'm glad it's not timeless because I really wanted it to end.

It always gets me when people see a 20 minute song and start whining because "ooh, it's too long" or "I can't listen to all of that". There's grown adults (I'm assuming children aren't doing this?) that don't have the attention span to sit down and listen to something for 20 minutes. Even worse, the album's only 38 minutes. That's like an average album length, and with this album it's not even the noodly kind of prog rock that drags on forever. This kinda just sounds like a good ol' rock album to me.

Anyway, rant over. It's prog. It'd be worrying if I gave it anything less than a 5.

Have some of you guys considered going out and feeding the pigeons, perhaps even feeding the sparrows too? It'd give you a sense of enormous well-being...

A fine album, but I don't think there's any song here that would warrant me giving it a 5. There's nothing mind-blowing that really pushes it over the edge.

Would've been a 2, I wasn't really enjoying it but there were some riffs I could get behind, but then the songs in the second half just sounded exactly the same as one another. They weren't very good songs either.
