Darkness darkness is a jam. I like the fiddle. It's a good background music album, not very distracting. "Not being distracting" is both a positive and a negative thing and leaves the album being mediocre.

"Runnin with the devil" and "you really got me" are such classics. JAYYYYMEEES CRYINGGGG! I CAN'T WAIT TO FEEL YOUR LOVE TONIGHT! I TELL YOU HONEY YOU'RE THE PRETTIEST GIRL I KNOW!

WHY IS THERE HARMONICA IN THE FIRST SONG. Now I LOVE harmonica. I personally think it's one of if not the best instrument. But holy fuck it sounds so weird at the end of this song. I don't think harmonica was the right choice there, lads.

Whenever I listen to this album I'm always like "That sounds like Damon Albarn!!!" and then I realize it is because it's Gorillaz... I love this album. i used to be super into Gorillaz 5 years ago, I still really like them, I just am not obsessed.

I knew "Novocain for the soul" or at least I've "liked" it on spotify. I like the line where he says "life is hard and so am I" or something like that. Susan's house is a cool way of doing commentary. I'm loving all these songs. MY BELOVED MONSTER OH MY GOD IT'S FROM SHREK WHAT.

It's okay. It's kind of just "the police" music. Like yeah, it's them, but it's not very good. Synchronicity should have been on here instead of this one. Message in the bottle is the only good song

I've actually heard more of these songs than I thought I had. He plays a lot in the shop that I work at, so I had mixed feelings about listening to him because he's kind of overplayed to me (that's not to say I don't love "Old Man"). I really loved this album and not even especially for the songs I'd already heard. I REALLY liked "Oh, Lonesome Me" and "Don't Let It Bring You Down."

There's a couple of bangers on here like Bell Bottom Blues, It's Too Late, and Layla. I was hoping that Layla was going to be the song I thought it was, which is the one I knew from the Eric Clapton live performance. Honestly I think his version is still better overall, but I did like the instrumental bit added to the end of the song by Derek and the Dominos.

2+2 always makes 5! Love this album so much. Love Radiohead so much. I'm a big fan of we suck young blood as well as there, there. There's a lot of masterpieces on this album

There's a lot of "slut" mentions in this album. The only song I think I truly liked was "Stan." There were others that were catchy but said "slut" a lot which dampened the song. The whole album he's like "you guys don't understand me" and "they punish me even though I'm saying the things they're thinking" like shut up bruh. He thinks he's special for sure

Super good. I hear some of these songs playing at my work a lot, so they're very familiar.

I have listened to an album previously on this list that wasn't on Spotify and I really liked it, so hopefully this one won't disappoint. I'm one song in so far and holy shit it's so bad it's good. I was reading the reviews and was confused why everyone was simultaneously hating it but thanking the artist for making it. Now I understand... You have to listen to it to understand and join the collective mindscape. I really like the album cover.

Meh. I'm not too intrigued. I've seen a lot of Brian Eno everywhere and I don't know who he is. I guess just a British guy who made a bunch of music. I looked at the Wikipedia, and he wrote some of the talking head's stuff which is crazy. It always baffles me how a bunch of popular music, whether from back in the day or from this day and age is just written by one random guy that lives in Sweden or something.

I had another Suede album less than a week ago. Pretty crazy that out of 1000ish albums I got one artist's 2 albums practically back-to-back. I like this one even better than the other one I listened to which I guess follows with the ratings because this one is 0.09 points more popular.

Heroes is one of the best songs ever written in my opinion. I believe that the story goes he saw his producer/manager or something with his secret lover at the Berlin Wall. He took something like that and saw the fleeting nature of it and wrote a beautiful song. I just think the song is brilliant and perfectly captures the time. I used to be super into Bowie, nothing happened, I just got a new favorite artist. I loved this album because of its separate-ness. The first half of the album is classic bowie with maybe a little dreamy twist, and the second half is this totally experimental music that I so dig. The Berlin trio are classics, but "Heroes" is indubitably the most so.

I don't agree with a lot of the reviews for this album. I think the beginning is a very hazy start to the album and I really like it.
