I know he's being creative which I support, but it's not really my fave, and that's okay. I was a little scared when he started singing that song "---- vs the jets" or something like that because I thought I had accidentally started playing west side story, which I used to be a fan of, but not anymore. I used to really like ben cook and so I was really excited that he was in the new movie of west side story. I appreciate some of the songs, most of them really, and I appreciate aspects of the story especially of the ones about living in america as someone from a different country or as a person of color. However I do not appreciate how Maria's little boo thang kills her brother and then she immediately has sex with him and then trashes on her practically sister-in-law for being mad at him and her. Like what. Oh god I'm sorry I'm mad at you for freaking with the guy who killed MY boo thang. I don't know it's just dumb to me. Anyways...

I like this one! I knew that one song from somewhere. Wasn't so aweinspiring I could give it a 5 though

I listened to this album while bleaching my hair I believe which the music made me feel very supported in my decision. I liked it. I like the album name, cover, and the band name. It all fits a certain vibe of person that I enjoy. Another aspect of the person is that they like Of Montreal which is not really similar music but you know it's that weird quirked up person I guess.

need to listen to this again to really appreciate it. i'm not in the headspace to do so right now and to truly devote myself to understanding it.

I already know the song "someone somewhere" so that was cool to start with such a good song that i know already. anyways im 3 songs in and still really liking it. i like this sort of dazey floaty music

dare i say it.... he sounds like lin manuel miranda. so far the album is quite boring... andd.... it stays being boring too, awesome. honestly, I was looking through the reviews and a lot of people were saying that it was "horny" and really sexual and honestly, I didn't know what to believe because I was like oh maybe these people are being a little prudish. But then I listen to the songs and I would agree. It's a little too much.

Every song just kinda sounds the same. It's not my kind of music definitely. I do like when they counted off in french at the beginning of surgeons girl.

I really like this album. It reminds me of the verve but in all the ways that the verve is good and not in the ways that it's bad and boring.... I'm definitely gonna have to listen to this album again... I'll add it to the list!

I was so caught off guard in the switch from the first song to the second, oh em gee. They're so different! I already know "Solsbury hill" and I like it a lot. While reading the reviews almost everyone was saying that that was the best song as well as "here comes the flood" so i guess I have that to look forward too. Crazy switch up though. Solsbury hill feels like one of those songs i used to hear on the radio all the time when i was like 8 or something. it feels like a quintessential 2010s song, even though it was made in 1977... I'm liking "excuse me". I liked the album cover until I saw the faint outline of a person and now I think it looks a little strange. Anyways, that was my two cents. "Down the dolce vita" sounds like something you would find out coming out of star wars at some points. You guys were right. "Here comes the flood" is real good. It sounds like a bowie song.

So far it feels like minecraft music in a way and I really like it. It is not like minecraft music anymore but I'm still really enjoying it. I love the random skits, they're super fun. This album has such an upbeat feeling that makes me happy.

It's pretty fun. I like the first two songs a lot. I obviously really like bang the gong too. It's a good album. I think bang the gong inspired david bowie. Or maybe it was just the entirety of T. rex that did

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ALBUM OH MY GERSHHHHHHH!!!! I first listened to this album when my mom recommended it to me. since then I have gotten the CD from a pack of CDs that my mom gave me. in freshman year I remember I recommended this album to my current boyfriend and he thought it was weird because of Yoshimi battles the pink robots part two. that's how you know he's not the one. I love the story of this album. It's so dynamic and beautiful and every song is great. love love love

I love all the songs in this album so so so very much. Anyways

"If you're so funny, then why're you on your own tonight
If you're so clever, then why're you on your own tonight
If you're so very entertaining, then why're you on your own tonight
If you're so very good-looking, why do you sleep alone tonight
I know
Because tonight is just like any other night."

...I think that says all I need to say.

I'm loving it so far but gosh golly is it long. Okay I'm like 10ish songs in now and I don't think I have the heart right now to finish this. I like it a lot, but not enough to listen to 2 hours.

At the intro I totally turned it off at first because I heard him talking and was like NO MORE BRITISH POP ROCK RIGHT NOW. Then I came back to it because I like writing reviews for all the albums. If i'd have stuck around for more than those 5, pushing 10, seconds, I would have actually liked it and I do. It's like one whole long song. There is almost no gaps for people to clap which I really liked. I like that there's not a lot of singing. The singing is kinda weird and I like it. I don't really know if they're tryna to put across a story...? If I looked at the lyrics (cannot possibly begin to understand them just by listening) maybe I could piece together the story they're tryna put out, but honestly, I'm okay!
