This kind of rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. I think it's mainly because I found the singers voice irritating.

Doesn't sound particularly like math rock to me. But it does sound a bit like a bunch of artists I like, like Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth, so I liked it a fair bit.

A crime that this is not in the main list. A million thanks to the submitter for adding one of my favorite albums of all time.

Does the list need a late-period Chemical Brothers album? No, obviously not. But did I enjoy it? Yes, a lot. Some moments are quintessential Chemical Brothers, and others felt like a slight departure. Solidly a high four; if I'd encountered this on the user list, it would probably have been a five.

He has a nice voice, but this is all just a little too safe sounding. I got bored of it about half way through. Milquetoast.

I generally preferred the more upbeat songs on this; Guy Fawkes Tesco Discussion was a highlight. The ballads work less well for me.

If you're only adding thirteen albums, I don't think two of them need to be Charli XCX ones, and if you're only choosing one, it's obviously Brat over this. Still, I quite enjoyed it; a high three, almost a four.

I'd listened to previous stuff by Alvvays and liked it well enough but this one had passed me by. But this is their strongest work by far IMO - I really enjoyed the shoegaze aspects to it especially. Passed my "listened twice in a row = five stars" test.

Pretty good; i think this just gets into four star range for me. I definitely think it merits inclusion in the book.

I liked it yesterday but by today had forgotten most of it. Listened again today and liked it again, but I'm not sure if I'll remember it tomorrow. High three.

This is pretty awful. No idea why this should be considered for inclusion as a later addition over (some of) the ones removed.

Not a fan of this genre in general, but this was far better than the male-fronted equivalents; for starters, she actually sings for a good portion of the album, and when she's screaming, it's more bearable for some reason.

A late period gem from the Cure. I wonder if the reviewer who said it was "too damn early" to add this to the user list a year and a half ago still stands by that statement. It's great that The Cure are still turning out material this good so far into their career.
