AmnesiacRadiohead

Rated 8/10

Not one that’s up there with my favourites from Radiohead but I do still enjoy it. Pyramid Song is up there with the very best songs they’ve recorded.

Top Track - Pyramid Song

I’ve been on a really good run for the last week, having three 5 stars and four 4 stars, but when I saw this generated I was ready for it to come to a crashing halt given my general dislike of Electronica.

Surprisingly though this was great, there was no point where it started to drag or I got bored of it. It’s not something I’m going to rush to listen to regularly but I could definitely see myself going back to this at some point.

Top Track - Setting Sun

Neil Young - On Bloody brilliant album, might be my favourite from Neil Young so far. I’ll have to listen to Harvest again later to decide. Every track on it was great, nothing even close to a dud.

I only have one NY album to go and with the exception of Tonight’s The Night (3⭐️) all of them have got either a 4 or 5 star rating. Really surprising to me since before starting this he was an artist I had absolutely zero interest in listening to.

Top Track - Revolution Blues

It was hard to decide between a 3 or a 4 for this one. I settled on four as, while there wasn’t an outright banger that stood out to me, there was nothing on here that I didn’t enjoy

Not what I was expecting at all, based on the name I thought I was getting a Blues album lol. The scream at the start really took me by surprise.

It did take a couple of tracks for it to click with me but it was great once it did. Definitely one I’ll be going back to and I’ll have to check out more of their albums.

Top Track - Dynamite Lover

Abbey RoadThe Beatles

Rated 10/10

For a brief second was a tad disappointed to generate this one. In an ideal world I would’ve loved this to be the finale to the project but I got over it pretty quickly.

I love this album. There’s so many classic tracks on here. One of the absolute greatest albums of all time.

Top Track - Either Octopus’s Garden or Something. Or Here Comes The Sun….. or Come Together. Too hard to pick just one lol

Well I didn’t expect to see Turbonegro pop up on the list but I’m very happy they did, it’s been years since I’ve listened to this in full.

Gotta be honest I fully expected to give this five stars based on my memory of it. Obviously with a 4 I did really enjoy it but it did drag a wee bit in the middle before finishing strong.

Top Track - The Age Of Pamparius or Humiliation Street

I wasn’t feeling this at the start but then I really liked Break and from then onwards the album was great.

Top Track - Thin Line

Highway to HellAC/DC

Rated 10/10

I bloody love me some AC/DC so this is a long time favourite of mine. Touch Too Much is up there with my favourite songs of theirs. I will say though for being their most famous song, I would rank 4-5 songs on the album ahead of Highway To Hell.

Top Track - Touch Too Much

I like her voice and there are some enjoyable songs on here but a lot of it was kinda forgettable. Not bad just not for me

Top Track - Happiness

Great album. Rock Box in particular is an absolute BANGER of a track. The only thing stopping this from getting the full five stars, and admittedly it’s probably a bit unfair, is I’m used to the Jason Nevins remix of It’s Like That and hearing the original for the first time today I didn’t really like it.

Top Track - Rock Box

I didn’t like the opening track, Country Home, at all but after that I enjoyed every track but maybe a few of them went on a bit too long.

Top Track - Mother Earth ( Natural Anthem)

My Dad absolutely loves the Mondays so this has been on my list to check out for an eternity. Bloody brilliant album, really loved it. Hard to pick one top track cause there’s a few bangers on here.

Top Track - Kinky Afro

There were some tracks I enjoyed but on others I found the vocals kind of annoying. It might need another listen or two.

Top Track - Shameika

My God I hated this at the start. It started to grow on me after a few tracks but it’s not one I’ll rush to revisit.

Top Track - The Goodbye Look

Da CapoLove

Rated 6/10

This was sitting on four stars until the last track, Revelation, which started off good then went on for a bloody eternity. Absolutely no need for it to be 19 minutes long lol.

Top Track - Seven And Seven Is

A massive improvement on Live At The Witch Trials, which I gave 1 star to. Every track on this was great. It just needed a couple I really loved to push it all the way to five stars.

Top Track - Lost In Music

This started off really strong but fell away a bit towards the end apart from Latin Lingo which was pretty good. I wouldn’t mind listening to more from them but it’s not something I’m gonna rush to do.

Top Track - How I Could Just Kill A Man
