Hendrix's masterpiece. Every song took me back to the 60s and gave me a chance to just absorb the vibes. It not only contains most of his hits, but it also has great, groovy deep cuts. This is one of those rare albums where I just have to let the music sink in and I can feel it everywhere.

This was the perfect soundtrack for trying to organize my screenplay. It's really random, there's WAY too much going on, and at times it's honestly so bad that it's good. Let me repeat: it's not quality music, and that's okay.

"I reign with my left hand, I rule with my right, I'm Lord of all Darkness, I'm Queen of the Night!"
"I'll be a bad boy, I'll be your bad boy, I'll do the March of the Black Queen!"

Yaaaaaaaassssssss slay Freddie 💅👑💅👑💅

An album that relies heavily on the storytelling and narratives. Don't expect to find the melodies that interesting. Just get lost in the tales of countrysides, poverty, brotherhood, family, and (for some reason) state troopers.

I feel like it times it had the right idea but was messed up by formulaic melodies and cringe lyrics. And I can't put my finger on it but his voice reminds me of a singer that I really can't stand.

OK I hate to admit it but this was kind of a bop

And speaking as a fan of hard-core rock, "Like a Prayer" is one of the most perfect songs ever
