Im gonna go with the consensus that this is a masterpiece on this one. Ive listened to it dozens of times, and I know most of the lyrics by heart. I would be lying if I said that this isn’t one of my favorite albums of all time. Its one of the only albums on the list that I own a physical version of. If you don’t like it on the first listen, listen to it another 5 times and you will. I also found out that the highway interchange on the cover is one that I go through every year to visit family. I sometimes wonder where the drivers on the cover are now…

Yeah. Great album. Not much more to say.

Why 1986 Was the Best Year for Music - Chapter 6: Outer Space

As soon as I heard a Kraftwerk sample on the first song, I knew it was going to be great. The title track is one of the best songs this generator has given me in a while.

Second song opens up with a huge beat, which was exactly the perfect beat I was looking for.

The other five songs are just as great. This album reminds me of the grooviness of the Les Rythmes Digitales album I got a few months ago. This is definitely one that I will listen to again, and it helped pave the way for hip hop in the 90s when jazz rap and gangsta rap merged together.

A bit horny. And by a bit horny i mean quite horny. And by quite horny i mean really horny. And by really horny i mean unimaginably horny. And by unimaginably horny i mean that he could destroy the entire observable universe with his horniness.

Ive heard some Hanoi Rocks songs but none from this album. Razzle is a good drummer, hopefully he doesnt get into a car crash with another musician that makes this type of music but worse (you know who you are).

Never in my life did i think i’d be listening to waterfalls outside of a supermarket. I also never thought I would enjoy the album Waterfalls is on. Very fun and it gets straight to the point. You can tell that this group had influence on people like Beyonce and Alicia Keys

This is what it feels like eating a steak from a Michelin star restaurant after eating a bunch of walmart processed meat. It just feels like a breath of fresh air after a bunch of needlessly unimportant picks from the 1966-73 era. I could listen to the first song for hours.

Also, unrelated, but I’ve officially gone 100 albums without giving out one star (this one obviously isnt one of them)

The most interesting thing about this album was the person who wrote a review about lizards plotting to destroy humanity by putting sexual lyrics in pop music. Other than that, I feel violated by this album’s presence and apparently I’ll have to listen to him trying to have sex with me again sometime within the next 859 days.

Can you believe that its been 52 days since i got a hip hop album? I’ve had an elvis costello record, five albums from the top 20 highest rated on the site, an album from an unnamed man who could put someone who’s just had 15 coffees asleep, and two Eric Clapton flavored turds since I had a hip hop album. Well here I am reviewing the Fugees. As for the album, it was okay. I’ve heard Lauryn Hill’s solo album and I would definitely rather listen to that. There are definitely some better rap albums from the mid 90s that could replace this one. It’s still not a bad album.
