His voice is beautiful. I enjoyed the upfront subject matter. Not everything needs to be a Shakespearean allegory....Apparently he's a jerk now, but I liked the album.

"Metal, Rock" who are we kidding???? This is rap plus a little bit of country. The best part of this album are the background singers. Oh the irony...

I am annoyed by how many people on Youtube are saying that Elvis was the best blues singer of all time. This is insulting to the individuals that originated the blues.
I was pretty bored by this album.

The album cover is gross. The guy's voice is terrible. The only thing redeeming about them is the song on the radio from the 90's...and also the Summertime song was kinda nice.

Probably the best pop rock/punk band out there. This album is so by the book, but maybe that's what makes it so good? I love "Jesus of Suburbia".

I liked this album a lot more than I expected. Does that deserve 4 stars? I'm not sure. For now we'll just leave it at a 3.

I am a little bit bored...nothing is grabbing me with this one.

It starts out strong, then gets a little repetitive. Almost like they're singing in circles. Then "It's Like That" comes on and it's good again. The remix of that song is top notch, takes me back to elementary school dances in the 90s.
Clean, swear-free lyrics are actually possible in Hip Hop. One of the best hip hop albums on this list so far!

I can't help myself...I'm really liking this album. But the reviews have me cracking up- "All right, who gave the Carnival Cruises house band a Talking Heads record?". It's so true and yet, I'm still liking it.
