This was a very interesting album. It was nice to get something a little bit different on the list. It is a little long, but not overly so.

3.5/5.0: Very Good

TicalMethod Man

Rated 8/10

Major points scored for having an appropriate runtime and ditching the 90s penchant for silly skits. As for the music, the production is not very good, with Method Man's voice being almost completely buried at times - almost like he's recording his vocals from the next room through a cardboard wall. That said, the dark vibes and atmospheric music are really neat and give this album a unique sound.

3.5/5.0: Very Good

I tried to give him another chance on this one, but oh my God is this bad. It's all the worst tendencies and tropes of early rock 'n' roll mashed together with a mumbling, stuttering vocal performance. It's difficult to conceive how this was ever popular.

0.5/5.0: Unlistenable

Pretty iconic album. When I think of folk punk, this is the album that comes to mind. It's a little silly or annoying at times, but mostly this is good, entertaining stuff.

5.0/5.0: Iconic

This was a lot better than the other LCD Soundsystem album I've gotten on this list. These actually sounded like songs and had structure. That said, the album is a tad too long.

3.0/5.0: Good

CloserJoy Division

Rated 8/10

Really interesting musically, especially the rhythm section. Vocals reminded me of Jim Morrison.

4.0/5.0: Great

Easy to see why they didn't make another album for 27 years. When there isn't a conversation taking place, the music dull or grating, and the vocals are obnoxious. Points for some cool piano parts.

1.5/5.0: Bad

MusicMadonna

Rated 6/10

The production is annoying and outdated, but the songs themselves are pretty good.

2.5/5.0: Mixed

This is well done electronica/pop. I find it a little boring, but I can recognize that it's good within its genre.

3.0/5.0: Good
