The classic rock sounds aren't my thing, but the big song was interesting at least.

An easy 5 for me. One of my fav albums of all time. Such great songs here, opens with the amazing Drive and closing with the perfect Find the River.
Rated 8/10
I actually already own this album, I like it quite a lot, the alt rock sounds are great to me.

I knew Common People coming in. The rest was pretty enjoyable too, I like that sound.
Not a fan of these kinds of jazz blues rock with horns and this old style of singing. The highlight for me was actually the Free Form Guitar song.
Rated 8/10
I knew Rock Lobster going in. The rest of the album was just as fun.
Rated 10/10
I was already a big fan of this album before this. Such great sounds. My favs are Tunnels, Power Out, Wake Up (Check out the live version with Bowie, great performance), Rebellion.

I can't stand Celtic stuff.

This is the first time listening to a full Beastie Boys album for me, I had only known their singles over the years. I was surprised at how musical this is, with instrumental tracks and all. I also didn’t realize they did the music side too, thought it was just the vocals. The variety here was nice too, like the punk tracks thrown in there too.
Rated 4/10
It was alright I guess. I knew Pinball Wizard and would have been fine never hearing it again. The sound of these old albums has a hard time making any impact on me.
Rated 2/10
Never heard of this before. Wish it stayed that way, I can't stand that boring classic rock sound.
Rated 8/10
I knew the singles plus a few extra songs that are on the "best of" album I have, but hadn't heard the others before this. Pretty enjoyable, nice sound.
Rated 10/10
I'm a big Sebadoh fan and this was actually the first album I got of theirs back in the day after hearing Hayden do a cover of Think (Let Tomorrow Be).
Lou Barlow is the king of heartbreak love songs and his songs are my fav here, those favs being Soul & Fire, Two Years Two Days, Sacred Attention, Forced Love, and Think.
This is the last album with Eric on it, his songs are sometimes too noisy for me, but he has a few great ones here: Emma Get Wild, and Bouquet for a Siren. Of Jason's songs on here, Happily Divided is my fav.
I would probably only give this a 4 really, but since it's one of my favs I want this to be on my 5 list.
Rated 8/10
I had heard of them, but not sure I've actually heard any songs. It seems from the comments on here that a lot of people dislike britpop, lol. But to me not knowing much of it, I like it, nice alt rock sound to me.
Rated 8/10
I only knew a few Pulp songs before this. If I heard anything from this album I don’t remember. But I really liked this, especially the darker tracks with more alt rock sound.
Rated 8/10
Ya, I liked it. I only really knew a few Smiths songs before this, but I like the sound, can see it’s influence.
Rated 6/10
I know and like some of his songs but I don't think I knew any of these. That twangy sound on a few songs I had to look up, a Jew's Harp apparently, sounds really out of place because of only knowing it as like a cartoon joke sound or something making fun of hillbillies.
Rated 4/10
Seems like it noodles around too much for me.
Rated 4/10
Not my thing.
Rated 6/10
Not really my thing but it was ok.
