I've always loved this record! The way all of these songs are elevated by the orchestra is amazing. It is an experience, and it is beautifully done.

I liked it at times. It was ok
Great early hip hop record. It really set the tone for everything that came in the 90's. I liked it.

I liked this more than other records of his tbh, I don't know why.

This is a pretty good hip hop album, considering it was released in 1989.

I heard this before. I get that it's hip hop from the beginning, but I don't like it.
I always enjoy some good jazz. This is pretty good.

The fact that this album was released in 1969 is incredible. Very ahead of its time, very proggy and extremely well done. It just takes you on a great journey.
I always liked this one, but not as much as Abbey Road. It is an amazing experimental record though, very enjoyable and trippy.

It wasn't bad, but it just got boring.
Rated 6/10
If it was waaaay shorter, I probably would have appreciated it more. Every song is just too long. This album could have done better with under an hour of music. Other than that, ignoring the boredom, it was enjoyable.
Rated 2/10
It sounds pretty much like David Bowie but a bit worse. Listen to Bowie instead. This is not bad but I wouldn't listen again to it.

Normally, I don't like live albums that much, but this one is great, mainly because Sam Cooke is one of, if not the best soul voice there is. This performance is raw and authentic, and it's just a joy to listen to his voice in a live setting.
