BlurBlur

Rated 6/10

I always thought that the band name perfectly sums up their music: a blur. Don't get me wrong, it's not that bad, and Song 2 rocks, but I just don't think they deserve the hype they still get. I'm just glad that Damon created Gorillaz. That band is superior to this one, and I think he knows it as well. That being said, just because it has Song 2, I give this album a 3.

This was nothing special, but it was fun. It was silly but not in such a bad way.

I never really liked The Who. I just don't get it. This record is annoying. I didn't enjoy any part of it.

I really thought I was done with Bob Dylan on this list. I said it before and I'll say it again, I understand the influence, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for this many records by him on this list. Especially a record from 1997 for God's sake. Are y'all ok? Instant 1.

"La" is the sound you make when you can't remember a tune and you try to hum it, which means it wasn't that memorable. That goes the same for this one as well. Boring and bland.

The WallPink Floyd

Rated 10/10

I will always love this record! It's my favourite from Pink Floyd. I agree that its runtime is a bit too long, but the songs are perfect, and this album as a whole is perfect. I like Dark Side Of The Moon as well, but The Wall is the first album I listened in full from Pink Floyd, so it has a very special place in my heart. Also, as a guitar player, this record has some of the most memorable guitar moments in the history of rock. Anyway, this is a 5, and also fuck Roger Waters.

This is not brutal youth, it's just brutal. I just hate Elvis Costello. I hate the amount of Elvis Costello on this list. I just can't stand it.

I don't really understand why you would choose this Slipknot record to be on this list amongst Iowa. That one and the self titled are the most influential. Don't get me wrong, I like AHIG a lot, maybe even more than I like Iowa but not as much as the self titled. But I wouldn't have included this one. Still though, a really good record that has many bangers, some of the most technical and heavy Slipknot playing on some songs, and also a lot of emotion coming through from tracks like Snuff and Til We Die, which is rare coming from this band.

Pink MoonNick Drake

Rated 4/10

I can appreciate the idea of just a man and his guitar, and it actually has some pretty good singing and guitar playing, but it just bored me a lot.

The ChronicDr. Dre

Rated 4/10

Why would you choose this album from Dr. Dre instead of 2001? Shitty move tbh. I will give this a 2 because it's Dr. Dre, but it is so dated compared to other rap stuff from the same time, especially with the mysoginy and homophobia. Also, I feel like he relies too much on Snoop.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it. There were already a lot of annoying brits on this list. Did you really feel the urge to include Pavement as well? Like, they are not that good. I don't like it at all.

The lyrics are quite exquisite, like I actually can smell them. Unfortunately the smell was shit. And when it comes to the instrumentals, they were all nothing special, and the voice was not that good either.

I might have given it another review if someone slipped some acid into my drink, but right now, it just sounds like someone demo-ing some instruments. And not in a very good manner either.

Beautiful, soulful voice! Incredibly smooth and soothing. Some of the best soul hits sung in an amazing manner. I admit, it got a bit monotonous but I loved it a lot. Especially because I never heard his versions of these songs, I only knew the originals, and I liked hearing a different approach.

DookieGreen Day

Rated 6/10

I was never a big fan of Green Day. I acknowledge their importance in music, but I just never resonated with them. But these songs are very catchy and this really sounds good for a punk record in the 90s.
