I was 16 when this came out and loved White Stripes.
De Stijl, White Blood Cells & Elephant were all 10/10 to me.

I taped the first radio play of Blue Orchid off the Zane Lowe show and must have listened back to it a hundred times before the album came out. It might be one of their best songs ever. I was psyched.

Then I bought the album and found out 10 of the 13 songs here are meh.

2 stars because the good songs are very good.

Love the Zep. This is nowhere near their best album but it’s still 4 stars.

More 90s than a tamagotchi in Blockbuster

Not my thing at all but i totally get why it’s on the list.

I imagine this is some people’s favourite album of all time… just not mine.

This is a weird one.
I enjoyed it. And It’s completely deserving of being on this list for how unique it is.

Yet I’m just not blown away by it at all.
It felt almost…unfinished?

There’s parts of this I really liked and parts that were too much for me. About double the length it needs to be so probably won’t come back to this vs. other jazz albums I’ve enjoyed

Perfect for anyone who thinks the music in the local garden centre is too edgy.

Very psychedelic, very cool.

Pink Moon is a regular for me. I should really listen to Nick Drakes 2 other albums more because they’re equally brilliant.

Somehow never listened to this and thought it was great. Will be coming back and every chance this is a 4 star in the future
