Enjoyed this though wasn’t completely blown away. Probably unfairly, I’d never really listened to the Verve and lumped it dismissively with the britpop label. More depth than I was expecting,
Can see me potential revising this score upwards after repeated listens but for now a very solid 3.

I knew this day would come and I wouldn’t have 3 hours to spare.

6 months ago I decided to listen to a couple of songs from this album whenever I had downtime so today wasn’t such a big challenge.

With repeated exposure, this has accidentally become one of my favourite albums.

A metric fuck ton of well-written funny charming songs.

Unexpectedly enjoyed this while it was on but don’t see myself coming back often.

Mixed bag. The highs are 5 star but there’s definitely a fair few skips here too.

The Pavement influence on this album is obvious.

At least it’s interesting so better than some of the stuff on the list.
