Take Me ApartKelela

Rated 6/10

It was enjoyable, but a bit too long for me. I really enjoyed the beginning, but had a hard time staying invested all the way through.

Nice and funky, but I don't have the endurance for a full album of it. Great for a couple songs, but then I am mostly waiting for it to be over. It wasn't even a very long album.

Interesting and fun. Didn't quite grab me enough to get the full five, but I was almost there.

Such a unique and beautiful voice. The album went on a bit long, but it is one I would gladly give another listen.

Fun and different. Listened to it a few times through. The noise in Dead Finks Don't Talk almost made me drop it a star, but I think I have got to go with 5 on this one.

I really liked Captain's Table. Some the other tracks were alright as well, but it just wasn't enough that I would want to find a put on this record again. Wouldn't be mad if it was playing though.

This one felt all over the map. I would start to like it, then a new song would start and I would be put off. None of it was bad per se, but it just wasn't really for me.

It wasn't overly crass and the skits weren't super long, but for some reason I really did not enjoy this. It was hard to get through the full album. Just not my cup of tea.

Still not my favorite brand of 80's sounds, but this album felt less annoying than the Previous Pet Shop Boys. It was ok.

I had heard of this band before, but didn't realize this was their music or they were from post 2000. I think I may have been conflating them with Twisted Sister? Who knows? Anyways...fun album, would listen again.
