DookieGreen Day

Rated 8/10

Not a bad album, plus a star for the pure nostalgia of it.

She has a soulful voice and the lounge singer vibes usually are right down my alley, but for some reason this one just didn't do much for me. It felt a little too cheesy.

I had no idea that song was called Green Onions. Lots of covers, but overall some good instrumental music for background listening.

I have enjoyed Kasey's songs for a while now. First time listening to a whole album and I loved it. Plus I got to watch the Sounders win last night so I am feeling extra generous. Five stars!

I actually enjoyed the first couple of tracks and then it just started to sound like Morrissey again. Meh.

I guess it wasn't awful, but it was just so low energy. It felt like it drug on and on and I was just waiting for it to be over.

I have never listened to a Tom Waits album before. I have always known he was out there. I knew he had a gravelly voice and an off the beaten path vibe. Only the cool kids liked him. To be honest, it was ab it too much. It felt like he was making it purposefully unlistenable. There were a few flashes of enjoyment that are making me consider a 3 star now that it is in the rearview mirror, but I am gonna stick with my feelings when I was in it. Sorry Tom.

Solid grunge. Some great tracks. I feel that as a Seattlite I can't give it less than a 4.

This was fun. I didn't realize I had ever heard this band before, but I was familiar with and quite enjoyed Connection. I enjoyed the rest as well. Not perfect but I would definitely listen again.

I like Silver Raven, but nothing else really clicked for me. It is fine inoffensive music to have in the background.

This was an enjoyable album. The talking interludes were interesting. Not bad, but did break up the flow of the album for me. I liked the music, but can't see myself searching this on out again.
