Not every song here is a winner and I think overall the vocals could be better, but the quality of the guitar playing more than makes up for it. Favorites were Sunshine Of Your Love, Tales Of Brave Ulysses, SWLABR, Outside Woman Blues, and Take It Back.

Misleading album title. This was actually an hour and three minutes of Bewilderbeast. There were certainly some good songs here and interesting instrumentals, but it did feel like some filler could have been cut. Occasionally was reminiscent of Elliott Smith. Favorites were The Shining, Stone On The Water, Magic In The Air, and Disillusion.

This is fucking awesome! I can’t imagine many of my favorite modern bands existing without this. This is a little more direct and less abrasive overall than Dub Housing. Favorite songs were Non-Alignment Pact, Modern Dance, Laughing, Life Stinks, and Over My Head.

I liked this slightly more than Nothings’s Shocking. The instrumental and vocal performances here were all really great. Three Days is an epic song that earns its length. Favorites were Stop!, Ain’t No Right, Been Caught Stealing, and Three Days.

I mean it’s alright. It’s the guy from Arctic Monkeys doing his best version of 60’s orchestral pop. Doesn’t quite have the same energy as those first couple Monkey’s albums. Highlights were Standing Next To Me, Calm Like You, and The Meeting Place.

After listening to this I went back to All Mod Cons before coming back here. This is not as good as that one. This doesn’t have the same dynamism that that one had. There is no English Rose here to balance out the more energetic songs. There are definitely highlights here and there is definitely a clear path between this and bands like Blur. The bass is good throughout. Favorites were But I’m Different Now, That’s Entertainment, Man In The Corner Shop.

I had the privilege of seeing Bob Dylan live in September of 2025. The thing you will notice when seeing him live is that he has allowed his music to outlive him to the point where he is essentially singing Bob Dylan covers. This mysticism extends to the story behind this performance. While the versions of the songs he plays here are mostly conventional, the energy with which they are performed is what makes the performance. He hangs onto every single word of Like A Rolling Stone. The Band was operating exceptionally here. Also, if bootlegs are allowed I think The Basement Tapes might also warrant inclusion. The drawn out acoustic first half is great with its copious harmonica, but the second half is really the highlight here.

From a band I have never heard of comes a two hour long psychedelic jammy live set with shades of Jethro Tull and Deep Purple. Needless to say I loved it. Favorite songs were Born To Go, Down Through The Night, Orgone Accumulator, and Brainstorm.

I liked this album. I just think it could have been half an hour shorter. Did we really need three songs in a row about George Wallace? Feels like they could have got the point across in one. The style is entertaining and fits within that 70’s southern rock theme. Favorite songs were Ronnie And Neil, Zip City, Let There Be Rock, and Plastic Flowers On The Highway.

Easily a top three Bowie album for me. It alternates between second or third depending on how recently I listened to it vs Blackstar. How many other albums can claim to have a song that touches the greatness of Heroes? It follows the same structure as Low, but I think I slightly prefer the A-side songs on this one. The Secret Life Of Arabia is a great closer

I have listened to this album every single day since it was generated. The soundtrack to the best backyard pool party you have ever seen. Just a blast from front to back. Of course I have heard Praise You and Rockafeller Skank, but everything else was new to me.

This was super weird but also really cool. Definitely gives off the spooky vibes he was intending. Somewhat reminiscent of Captain Beefheart. Favorite songs were Gris-Gris Gumbo Ya Ya, Mama Roux, and I Walk On Guilded Splinters.

This was rad. Just a really good metal album. Definitely a different style compared to Roots. Favorite songs were Dead Embryonic Cells, Desperate Cry, and Altered State.

Now this was just delightful. The arrangements are great. I love the way the electric keys blend with the strings. The build and release of tension in The Sound Of Someone… is fantastic. Really great album that I never would have heard otherwise. Favorites were In A Sydney Motel, The Sound Of Someone…, and Chartered Flight.

I tried. I really did. I gave this three full listens, but I just couldn’t like it. Sweet Dreams for being the most popular song here was never one I particularly loved either. There are parts I liked here, like the outro to Jennifer, but as a whole it seemed lacking.

This album is dated(complimentary). Everything is just drenched in synths to the point where it works for me. I need to be wearing some cool sunglasses while listening to this. The vocals are really great too. Favorites were The Things That Dreams Are Made Of, Darkness, Seconds, and Don’t You Want Me.

If you asked me if I would enjoy an album with ads built in I would tell you you’re crazy, but here we are. The concept is easy to grasp and works well. This is a distant ancestor to Songs For The Deaf. Super creative from a music and artwork standpoint. My primary issue with this one comes from the second half being largely weaker than the first. Favorite songs were Armenia City In The Sky, Our Love Was, I Can See For Miles, and I Can’t Reach You.

Baba O’Riley is truly one of one. This album was an huge fixture of my time as a teenager. Another album to add to the list of “this could be a Greatest Hits”. Every member of the band was so locked in here. The opening and closing are the big standouts here, but everything else pulls its weight. The outro of Won’t Get Fooled Again with the drum solo and the absolute scream is incredible.

Comfort food funk/soul. Did this change the game or blow my mind? No it didn’t, but it didn’t really need to. It was enjoyable with solid grooves and great vocals. Favorite songs were Lay Your Lovin’ On Me, Secrets, and If You Think You’re Lonely Now.
