Rated 8/10

Pretty solid and consistent Rolling Stones album. Nothing blew me away, but it was good overall. 4/5

Rated 10/10

I had never heard this one before now. Safe to say I was missing out. This is really good. Great mixing of blues, gospel, rock, and pop. Very cohesive. Shocking that this album is over an hour long as it definitely doesn’t feel like it in the best way.

Rated 4/10

This has been my least favorite Stones album so far. I just didn't connect with it at all. Probably should be a 3 but I want to rate it lower than other Stones albums I liked more and already gave a 3.

Rated 6/10

This is not the best Stones album by any stretch but I do think it's a decent album. One I would probably come back to now and again although nothign really stands out. With Stones records it seems like you usually get one or two huge hits with a bunch of filler and this is not that at all. It all solid but there aren't any big hit that everyone knows. And I kind of like that. Not a 4 star album but a solid 3.5.

Exile on Main St. is a stunning double album that showcases the Rolling Stones’ musical diversity and creativity. It is a rock and roll masterpiece that features elements of blues, country, soul and gospel. The album is one of their best works, as it captures their raw and authentic sound, their rebellious and eclectic spirit, with lyrical themes of exile, alienation and survival.

Personally, I prefer Sticky Fingers to this album, as I think it is more concise and focused plus more hits always helps.

However, that does not take away anything from the greatness of Exile on Main St., which deserves a full 5 stars rating.

Rated 6/10

Glimpses of the Stones good songs but overall not great.

Rated 8/10

My wife is a huge Stones fan … or, rather, there are, like three Stones albums she loves but she kinda shrugs at the rest. When I played this one for her yesterday, she didn’t make a single comment. I find that telling. My super conservative friend, however, loves the Stones and bangs on constantly about how cool Mick Jagger is. He loves most (all?) Stones albums, and I’ve even heard him talk about this one. He’s in the closet. I find that telling, too.

Rated 6/10

A classic album without any stand out classic tracks - somehow. Decent songs, and a lot of them, but nothing that makes you stop and listen.

Rated 6/10

I don't think I'd like the Stones much if I didn't love specific songs for cultural reasons. None of them were on this album, didn't like i much.

Rated 4/10

Rated 10/10

Fantastic album...likely the best of the Stones. Maybe not as many hits, but just so solid end to end. Has my favorite Stones song of all time...Tumblin Dice!! 5/5

Rated 6/10

Unlike a lot of other reviews here, I actually hadn't seen this Rolling Stones album before (somehow), so this was a whole new experience for me. That being said, it wasn't that special of one. I never was a huge fan of the Rolling Stones, as it didn't do much for me, but this album was okay. That being said it was just okay. There wasn't anything that truly stuck out to me and while it started out strong in never really went anywhere. It's a very consistent album, so those who like the Stones will probably enjoy this album quite a bit, but all this is for me is another driving force as to why I will never understand the Beatles vs. Rolling Stones comparison

Rated 2/10

The Stones just do nothing for me. It's fine. Not offensive or anything. I wouldn't outright complain if it came on. Just doesn't evoke any reaction in me at all really.

Rated 8/10

There are the big four records of the Stones (Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers & Exile On Main St.) and this one is like the Beatle's White Album.
And for me that means it's a bit too long and the real fans adore it.

I like it. It's rock 'n roll and the band really feels like they know what they're doing at this stage. They're pulling off every genre within the Stone's repertoire.
It's a really good album, but I'll let other persuade me why it would be their best, because I can't hear it (yet)

Rated 10/10

Rolando as preda

Rated 8/10

Solid Stones album. Not my favorite but very listenable.
