Immediately know this won't be the only Warhols on here. Man lazy.

The Good: We get art from the factory!
The Bad: Oh wait… dyslexia is a bitch!
The Ugly: No art to be found here. IMHO…
I’d heard of them… I might have heard a song, on the radio, maybe… Never bothered to buy a CD of theirs…
After listening to the album, I doubt I will ever listen to them again. Noise… alternated with something resembling good music, yet not good enough to leave a lasting impression on me.
Don’t know what to rate this… maybe it is because I am playing catch up, again, and I still have 8 more albums to rush through before I am up to date…
3* down the middle… though it should be 2*
Edited, on the same day that I rated…
So, uncertain if I was being fair, I decided to quickly listen to this again, also based off of commentaries I was reading from other people regarding this album… and I’ve decided to rate the album 2* and here’s why:
a 7-minute intro song that hardly changes beat or chords, with shit lyrics, to have this followed by similar drivel, it is enough to make me really dislike the Dandy Warhols… so, please, stay down...

album koji je načelno dobar. ima super momenata (npr. pjesma not if you were the last junkie on earth) al ima i dosadnih i slabih; pogotovo smetaju zadnje dvije pjesme, bezvezne, bezdušne i potpuno suvišne – instrumentalne stvari koje zajedno traju 15 minuta.

Something about this band that I appreciate is they understand the fundamental truth that Kim Deal is, in fact, cool as hell. This was a really good album that I went into without many expectations. The droney ambient bits are pretty cool. Favorite songs were Minnesoter, Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth, Good Morning, and Cool As Kim Deal.

fantastic singles giving way to Pyschaedlic shoegaze jam done really really well.
Rated 6/10
Creí que no conocía ninguna canción de este disco, pero está "Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth" que sí la conozco. Viendo sus canciones más escuchadas en general, no es mala banda y tuvieron dos o tres mega éxitos. He añadido también "Every day should be a holiday". Serían 2,5 estrellas, pero redondeo a 3.
Rated 4/10
parts of it are good but most parts are boring
Rated 8/10
A hazy, playful mix of shoegaze textures, psychedelic grooves, and slacker cool, … 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘺 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘸𝘯 feels like the laid-back American cousin of Ride’s 𝘕𝘰𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. The swirling guitars and dreamy atmospheres are there, but traded in are the melancholy and intensity for irony, looseness, and west coast nonchalance. Not every track stands out, but the overall vibe is immersive and unique — a charming slice of 90s neo-psychedelia that still sounds fresh today.
Rated 4/10
A bit of strummy jangle, a bit of brit pop swagger, a bit of shoegazey swirling noisey atmosphere, a bit of psych modulated drone, a bit of warm shaggy fuzz, a bit of college rock goofiness, a bit of winking throwback garage rock nostalgia, a bit of power pop harmony, a very stupid band name. Hey, they're out there having fun being a pretty decent guitar band, not hurting anyone (except themselves it seems), but not a whole going on. They have great taste in music and in cool vintage guitars to go with their a classic PNW hipster aesthetic - but a good example of how taste doesn't necesarily transmute into inspiration. The mythos outstrips the music. Would anyone care about this band if it wasn't for Dig! and the drama around their friendship/feud with another band with a very stupid name?
Favorites: Orange, Every Day Should Be A Holiday, Good Morning, The Creep Out

I've quite enjoyed this album as my first exposure to any of the band's material.
Its production is a big stand out for me - it boasts definition and provides a rock solid platform for the entrancing, spacious soundscapes which are aplenty here. This is very much a late 90's album in terms of its character and sound, but it translates well into the modern landscape too, with clear nods to shoegaze and hints of garage rock observable alongside the bendy, warpy psych-rock which takes the primary precedence. It's not all drifty here, however, with several tracks unafraid to dial up the energy a bit - notably "Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth" and "Cool as Kim Deal".
Very keen to dig further into their catalogue going off this evidence.

It's fine
Rated 6/10
There were some decent songs on here. But it was to long and a lot of it was to drone-y
Rated 6/10
Das Album markiert ihre psychedelischem Indie-Rock. Tracks wie "Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth" und "Boys Better" überzeugen mit eingängigen Hooks und punkiger Attitüde.
Die Platte hat ordentliche Momente, verliert sich aber manchmal in ihrer eigenen Trance, wodurch einige Songs weniger einprägsam wirken.

Better than I remember!
Rated 8/10
This was pretty fun. A little flat mix, but still a coool sound
Rated 6/10
It's just ok
Rated 6/10
This one really took a left turn on the last two songs. Like did they just need to fill some space at the end? Anyways, this album was fine but nothing really jumped out at me. It was just an ok album.
Rated 4/10
Was okay, but didn't like it that much.
Rated 6/10
Good but not great. The songs all do pretty much the same thing sound-wise, and while it's *fine* it does make it feel like a bit of a slog to make it to the end.
Rated 10/10
Mr Come Down, so pleased to see you again.
I could write so much about this album, and the band. It was nothing short of revelatory when I first heard it, aged 17. It was the antidote to both tedious Britpop and increasingly middle-of-the-road American rock, existing somewhere in a swirling bongwater ether of the Velvet Underground and Rolling Stones, but also taking in influences from shoegaze and stoner rock, with a snide, cool, and nihilistic attitude.
Come Down was at once deeply uncool and the coolest thing I'd ever heard, and I just couldn't understand why more people didn't like them. I saw them live a lot. I got the t-shirt. I wrote an essay about them at university. I got a tattoo. I was obsessed.
I still think it hangs together as an album, and it needs to be listened to as loud as possible. "Be In" builds layer upon layer, "Boys Better" smacks you with one of the short, sharp catchy pop songs that the Dandys do really fucking well, then the pace slows and it gets into this soporific sludge, in the best possible way, before hitting the double-whammy of "Junkie" and "Holiday," and then "Good Morning" is a come down from that burst of energy and a return to the more stoned fug of the first half.
It's by far their best album and I wish they'd continued on this track and not tried to go all electronic.
So yeah, five stars, always and forever.
