Some fairly primitive hip-hop. Real OG shit to be sure. Ice T can definietly rap, but this album didn't do a whole lot for me. I probably just need to be more gangster.

A well-crafted, fairly enjoyable album. Occupies more of a background music space than a direct, engaged listening space. Not blown away by any of it, but nothing to dislike here either.

The percussion gives these songs a certain chaotic energy that really suits them well. This sure isn't smooth jazz, even though it has its moments of smoothness. Not the typical kind of thing I enjoy listening to, but this certainly wasn't bad.

A solid 70's rocker. While it didn't blow my mind, I did find myself enjoying it quite a bit more than I anticipated as the album went on. I dig, I dig.
