Bland, inoffensive indie rock. I am struggling to see how these guys had any impact on the culture back in the 90s. The best track is the cover which closes this LP, the original Simon & Garfunkel song with a new desktop theme.
Rated 8/10
I have always loved this album and still do but it's a little bit marred by Evan Dando being a creep.

Another one hot album. Generic 90s alt band trying to sound punkbbut sounds like every other generic 90s alt band thats trying to sound punk
Rated 6/10
Rated 8/10
Enjoyed it more than I remembered - keen to check out their earlier music as I read it's faster and Husker Du-ish
Rated 6/10
Much as this record brings warm feelings, it's not even the best Lemonheads record. A solid, workable indie rocker, but far from remarkable.

Pretty standard 90s indie, not a bad listen! Might pick it up again after a few months. All in all, just ok.
Rated 8/10
This album makes me so happy. I don't know what this dude is talking about but I lowk get it. This record is like a Sunday afternoon, and the singer supports it by delivering a happy but calm tone about Sunday things. Great combination of incorporating both electric and acoustic guitars throughout the album as well. Sure it's basic, but its simplicity brings immersiveness and tones that make the album cruise by. It gets less and less fun throughout however, and some songs sound very formulaic.
Rated 6/10
Plods along nicely, nothing special to write home about.

There were good songs, but nothing exemplary.
Rated 4/10
Listened halfway through to my way to work and I still don't get this pop punk stuff, it's way too sanitized and boring to me, probably 2 stars
Rated 6/10
Hate that Mrs Robinson cover. The rest is fine.

Has to be one of the most mainstream sounding alternative bands of the 90's. It's not bad but it really doesn't stand out in the crowd. Their biggest song on Deezer is the Mrs Robinson cover with the groovy bassline and that's the most memorable one to me. It was a pleasant enough way to fill up 40 minutes but I don't really think I'll listen to it again. It kind of feels like one of those albums you have to grow up with to form a bond with it.
Rated 8/10
Great energy, quirky little album. Also brings back memories for me, so there is probably a half star nostalgia bonus.

What a find! This is the kind of experience I was looking for when I started this musical journey.
This album is such a distillation of the early 90s. It feels so homey, so comfortable. Like it's April 1993, you and your best buds and maybe your girlfriend are riding your bikes over to the lake after school and this is playing from someone's portable jukebox. I absolutely love the nostalgic feelings that exude from the carefree lyrics, the Smiths-esque guitar, and that organ that pops up every now and again. The song lengths are all so short but it's paced pretty well in terms of upbeat, faster tempos and slowing things down. Ending on their recognizable cover of "Mrs. Robinson" was a nice touch, too. Too bad about their singer being a POS, but it doesn't take away from how good the album was.
Rated 4/10
It was not very memorable for me
Rated 6/10
I'm not sure if I have many strong thoughts about this one. It's good. It's consistent. It whips along at a fair old pace, and even though there's some variation in there it still somehow all feels very similar. The drums and guitars are kind of the same throughout, without anything really pushing the envelope.
However it's nothing other than very listenable.
3.5 rounded down.
