Comforting, as always.

Harmonies for days.
Rated 8/10
Really solid album. I dug the harmonies and the overall flow. I see why they added Neil Young the next year, though. The trio was missing something, and apparently that something was a guy I don't even like. Against all odds, Neil Young made a band better. Marrakesh Express is a banger. 4/5.

Day 30
I don't think this record is Young
Fav track: Wooden Ships

This was kind of delightful actually, I think I'm starting to love these guys.
Rated 8/10
Hard to hate on an album with some of the most legendary folk rock songs ever recorded. The musical arrangements are lush and layered and the harmonies, while perhaps too effusive, are also tight AF. Yes, it gets repetitive and indulgent, but you can’t hate on something that’s this good.

Song with No Words stands out, because it... has no words :D
Chill rock from the 70s
Rated 4/10
One thing the generator has taught me is that I have little love for folk-rock, or folk in general. This is no exception. Having 2 CSN albums (ok, other one was CSN&Y which was slightly better) in a week was too much folk for me to tolerate. It's not interesting to listen to and I don't care for the music, the singing or the songs.

Some immaculate guitar work, but to me it feels a bit lifeless, lacking a certain grit and authenticity.

This album was so relaxing. It put my brain at peace.
Rated 6/10

Found this pretty boring with no standout track. 5/10
Rated 6/10
Obviously the vocal harmonies are amazing. Sometimes they are so crisp and dead on that it feels manufactured rather than coming from three vocalists, taking away any raw emotion. That being said, this album has some great moments but becomes boring in others. Acoustic, folky, singer-songwriter stuff has the tendency to do that in my opinion. Overall, three stars because nothing stands out other than the classic “Suite:Judy Blue Eyes.” I will probably return to this album for a couple of tunes but it wouldn’t go heavy rotation.
Rated 6/10
The harmonies on this album are very Beatles-esque, and some of the songs have that poppy melodic quality as well. My favorite songs on here were the simple, acoustic-driven folk songs. Those songs were thoughtful and gave me a sense of peace. But maybe that's the point of folk: to be relaxing and introspective, and I enjoy having plenty of that.

This has a lot of the big tunes, but Deja Vu is better.

I like this album a lot but I don't really know whether I love it, doesn't really speak to me.
Rated 10/10
Loved this way more than I expected to, an insanely beautiful album
