Honestly, I thought Let It Bleed was a pretty decent album for what it was, It had good music, cool musical ideas, okay lyrics, and some pretty good vocals (probably my favorite aspect from the album) I felt that some songs did drag themselves out longer than they should have (I'm looking at you, You Can't Always Get What You Want) but all and all, it was a pretty good album for what it was
Best Song: Gimme Shelter
Worst Song: Country Honk
Rated 8/10
Gimme Shelter alone elevates this to at least four stars, and You Can't Always Get What You Want keeps it there.
Rated 6/10
I honestly thought we'd had this one before!
I had a bit of a bumpy one with this album. Gimme Shelter is a fantastic opener, then a couple of duds, then another good one, rinse & repeat, until a great closer with You Can't Always Get What You Want.

This is my third Rolling Stones album reviewed on this generator (the first two being Sticky Fingers and their self titled debut). This album is their 10th American studio album released, and marks a return to their more blues rock style of music.
The album starts with an absolute jammer (Gimme Shelter). This song in and of itself is worth at least 3 stars.
I thought Country Honk's lyrics were familiar. Turns out it is a country version of their song Honky Tonk Woman, which was released a few months earlier.
Live With Me was the first song recorded with the Stones new guitarist Mick Taylor, after Brian Jones got kicked out of the band for drug abuse. Mick also played on Country Honk. Live With Me is also the first time the Stones recorded with saxophonist Bobby Keys.
The London Bach Choir was brought in to assist with the recording of You Can't Always Get What You Want, providing the intro and outro accompaniment.
Overall, this is a stellar album. I am a big fan of their more bluesy rock style. What an intro and outro to this album. Everything in the middle of the album pales in comparison, but is every bit as good in its own right. First time listening to this record cover to cover, but I will absolutely listen again!

Rollareilta erinomainen rokkilevy! 4/5
Rated 8/10
Gimme Shelter is probably the best song I've heard on any album so far, and I have no idea how I've gone almost 25 years without ever hearing it before. Ultimately though, the album as a whole isn't anything I'll be rushing to revisit anytime soon.
Rated 10/10
Fantastic album. My favorite stones and one of the best of all time
Rated 6/10
It's a nice album, but it's definitely a contrast between the two big hits, and the rest of the album that meanders along.
Rated 8/10
This is my favorite Stones album. I’m not a super fan of the band’s career in general, but I can’t deny how amazing of a blues rock album this is. I mean, it’s the kind of work where, at the end of every song, you just shake your head in disbelief and wonder if it can get any better. And then it does. It accomplishes perfectly what it sets out to do: make a cool, swaggering record of tavern blues songs. The testosterone-driven hedonism is strong on this one.
Rated 10/10
Classic, no idea how it could possibly be improved. Any collection that starts with Gimme Shelter and ends with You Can't Always Get What You Want, and doesn't drop off a cliff in between, is alright by me!
Rated 4/10
I don't really like the Stones. Gimmie Shelter is like all of the backing parts of a song just got fully fleshed out but no song in the middle of it. Country Honk makes me want to die. I am really not in the mood for these clowns this morning. You Can't Always Get What You Want is a great tune. and that is what keeps this album from being a 1 imho.
Rated 6/10
I really wanted to like this more than I did. It’s bookended by absolute stellar songs, but the middle is forgettable blues rock. Not bad, by any means, but not great either. Just ho-hum for me.
Rated 5/10
Hell yeah I love The Departed
Rated 10/10
This and "Beggar's Banquet" used to be my go to drinking albums and honestly I can't think of a better backdrop to a rousing night. Practically makes me feel like I'm in a Martin Scorsese movie. Merry Clayton's voice cracking on "Gimme Shelter" is one of my favorite moments in all of recorded music. Sends a shiver down my spine nearly every time. This album is completely solid from start to finish. And goddamn if I don't know a stronger opening/closing song combination than "Gimme Shelter" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want." Absolutely iconic.
Rated 8/10
An absolute amazing Rolling Stones album that has some of their best songs on. "Midnight Rambler" is my favourite Stones song, and classics like "You Can't Always Get What You Want," "Monkey Man," "Gimme Shelter," make this album a pure feast for the ears.
An album well worth a listen on headphones as well, there is just so much happening.
Only 4* from me though, because as an album, there are songs I already started skipping on second listen, like "Love In Vain" and are not up to the high standard of some of the previous mentioned songs.
