Rated 2/10
I've given better albums than this 1 star because I found them irritating and I'm not going to give this 2 just because it's inoffensive. Boring.
Rated 4/10
Their bio says somehow they never reached mainstream success. I have a theory, their music isnt that good.

This feels very alternate reality. What if alt country became the Nirvana? It's ok but really doesn't feel culturally relavent
Rated 6/10
Another album where the first song promises a lot more than the rest of the album delivers.
If the rest of the album were like The Shining Hour, it might have gotten a five from me.
As it stands, the rest of the album is extremely derivative of Bowie, Young, and Mellancamp, along with all the late 80's, early 90's alt bands like R.E.M., Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam.
Hell, the opening few chords and the vocals of Jupiter and Teardrop are a straight rip from Ziggy Stardust.
It's fine. His voice does get irritating by the end of the album though.

prva pjesma bila je dosta dobra, a onda me ostatak razočarao, koji je bio na granici neke pičkaste indi prosječnosti. pretkraj se dojam malo popravio. nije loše, pa dajem tri, al dojma sam da je moglo puno bolje

Another album I'd never heard of, but this is pretty much right up my alley, so glad I heard this one

strong first half. forgettable rest of the way

Pretty middle-of-the-road stuff. I'm unlikely to remember anything about this one.
Rated 8/10
Hasn't heard this in a long time. It holds up really well

Hmm this is generally the sort thing I would like but I felt it was too generic. Nothing of real interest to my ears.
Rated 8/10
Fuzzy honestly surprised me with how good it was. I have never really heard of this band, and honestly, I'm shocked to find out that it even is a band as i thought this was Grant Lee's real name and i thought it would be a solo career of sorts but nope, It turns out his real name is Grant Lee Phillips and this is just his band. Anyways, I really liked this album for the main reason i like a lot of these unexpected surprises, and that is that the album is super relaxing which works for me since i got home from an 8 hour shift before listening to this. The guitars are great, Grant Lee Phillips' vocals are fantastic and i quite liked the songwriting. All around, a really nice album that I'm glad i got to hear before i die.
Best Song: Wish You Well
Worst Song: You Just Have to Be Crazy

it's alright

They're right this sounds Fuzzy. Love how this sounds. Good performances all round and sonically very full. Very good head nodder. Dips a little in the middle but not enough to be a problem.
Nice to be introduced to a new band who discography I wanna listen to now. Good job list.
Best tracks:
The Shining Hour
Fuzzy
America Snoring

Indie-ish, doesn't hurt anyone.

This could be the dictionary definition of meh
Didn’t make a much if an impression. Nothing in the lyrics really grabbed me, most of the singing wasn’t very strong, and the music was fine
His voice is nice and the music is competent so is it a 2 or a 3
Rated 4/10
Bland music, with mediocre vocals. It’s not bad enough to give only one star, but I’d bet good money you’ve been more entertained by a local cover band than you will be by this album. I think this guy is the author’s godfather’s nephew or something. That’s the only explanation for this being on the list.
Rated 8/10
I rather enjoyed, and was pleasantly surprised by this. It's an accessible take on moody, atmospheric alt-rock fused with elements of country and folk, where the latter two don't encroach too heavily into the experience; positively accentuating the songs which generally place a greater emphasis towards the vocals.
The album began to feel more expansive in the second half, and specifically from "Stars n' Stripes" onwards, where the back end of such a track felt like it had a greater amount of room to breathe, and where the instrumentation took the reins with a slight sleaze and drifting style to it. The first half, whilst good, occupied a similar space from to track, although not in an unengaging way.
Grant Lee Buffalo, in a vocal sense, has a slight grunge/alt twang to him which brought several other 90s contemporaries to mind - a bit of a softer voice than the likes of Layne Staley, but operating in a comparable ballpark with the emotive quality to his vocals. Michael Stipe or Neil Young might be closer points of reference.
I can imagine this album pairing well with a beer over a summer sunset. I might actually make a purchase and explore further.

I've already heard plenty of "guy with acoustic guitar singing in a voice so raspy you want to offer them a glass of water" music from the nineties, thanks.
Also, what's with the Boomer selfie on the cover?
Rated 6/10
Honestly, this album serves as a bit of a Rorschach test for your tolerance of 90s alt rock. It’s got a warm, “fuzzy” atmosphere that sits somewhere between grunge and Americana, think R.E.M. jamming with Jeff Buckley. Grant Lee Phillips has a voice that really carries the record, and tracks like "Jupiter And Teardrop" and "Dixie Drug Store" are genuine standouts that pull you in.
However, I can totally see the complaints about it being a a bit boring. For every moment of atmospheric brilliance, there are stretches where it risks blending into the background as pleasant, but forgettable, noise. It teeters on the edge of being soporific. If you’re in a moody, autumnal headspace, it’s a hidden gem, but if you need high energy or sharp hooks to stay engaged, it might just put you to sleep. A solid, if slightly sleepy, 3 stars.

Surprised to see this one on the list, though I enjoyed it a lot upon its release. Highlighted by a few great songs, but probably not epochal enough for consideration on this list.
