Rated 6/10

Not a bad listen. Some songs stood out more than others, and a few were flops (my god and the mother song). Fine album. 3/5

Rated 8/10

I wore out the cassette tape I had this album on back in the 80s—it was not my favorite Police Album, but I listened to it a lot. I guess I will have to give this one a 4/5 (4.4 - it is better than a four, but I am saving my 5s)

Mother is as bad as I remember but every other song is enjoyable

Rated 4/10

I thought this would be bland, but fair play - Mother is unhinged. Otherwise, some decent tunes and I can hear they are playing around with different genres/ideas, but somehow it just doesn’t grab my attention.

Rated 6/10

Synchronicity is just an incredibly bizarre album. The sheer 80sness of this album really shines through in nearly every song and makes every song feel like an incredibly bizarre trip. Despite all the quirkiness (actually due to it kinda) I enjoyed this album quite a fair bit. The weird electronic sounds and the vocals really kept the album interesting throughout it's whole runtime and even the weird lyrics helped as well. It is things like this that make this album better than the last album by The Police that i did. This album is just significantly more interesting and had much more memorable tunes than Reggatta De Blanc did. This album is a pretty solid listen.
Best Song: Every Breath You Take
Worst Song: Mother

Rated 6/10

Good album, pretty middle of the road as far as my tastes go. The more you listen to the track “Mother” the more you learn to like it.

Rated 6/10

Erste Hälfte nicht gut, zweite war besser. Wzf war "Mother"? Schlechter als das vorherige Police Album
Songs der Playlist hinzugefügt: Keine

Rated 6/10

Not the best Police...earlier stuff is slightly more compelling for me. Still solid. 3.5/5

Rated 8/10

There are some classics on here. Every Breath You Take is such a creepy song but darn if it doesn’t feel like summer 1983 from the very first chords.

Rated 8/10

Rated 4/10

I absolutely hate Sting as a vocalist. I absolutely hate lyrics that Sting is involved with.

"Reggatta de Blanc" had enough interesting choices to somehow overcome this and be a good album, but this is just actively annoying from start to finish - except "Every Breath You Take", but that track has so many other problems that including it is not a plus for the album.

On the other hand it's +1 for "Murder by numbers"

Rated 8/10

There are some classic tunes on this one, worthy of four stars. Holy cow though - mother? What the heck happened there?

Rated 8/10

Extremely uneven song quality even though the sound and production is all very cohesive and totally distinctive - they're eclectic in their influences but nobody sounds like them really. One of the ultimate greatest hits vs albums bands. Wrapped around your finger is bizarre song for an all time great pop hit, I'll be watching you is a creepy masterpiece about creepiness, synchronicity II has an incredible new wave riff and a wildly catchy hook. The rest is more sprawling and experimental, but not always successfully so.

Their best...

Rated 4/10

Normally I don't mind The Police, but weirdly this one bar "Synchronicity II" and "Every Breath You Take" was forgettable by the time you reached the end, and you can tell it's the end, they were done. At least they dropped the white boy reggae act by now.

Rated 6/10

Something of a mixed bag. The good parts are really good, but the bad parts aren't very good. Lyrics are very ehh. Walking In Your Footsteps is a PBS kids type song. Highlights were Synchronicity I & II, Every Breath You Take, and King Of Pain.

Rated 8/10

Well oil me up and strap on my winged briefs, it's Feyd Rautha's finest turn.

Rated 8/10

Though not all numbers on the album are excellent, there are too many that excel way above par.

Great listen, classic album, top 100 of all time for certain, though only 4 stars for me... but I am weird!

Rated 6/10

Godt nok en blandet pose bolcher.. Jeg føler egentligt at det meste er fillers for at få Every Breathe You Take til at skinne...

Rated 8/10

Love me some Sting.

Rated 10/10

Listening to this album brought back good old memories of my teenage years, of getting together at a friend's house to listen to this band and others that were so important to us growing up! Back in the days of cassettes, walkmans and pirate radio ;-)
