This is, without exaggeration, the absolute worst album I have EVER heard. There is not a single redeeming quality, it is actually a marvel how truly terrible this really is. The track Graveyard made me want to launch my headphones halfway through. Ironically by the end of the track I envied the dead, they didn’t have to hear this. This is only getting 1 ⭐️ because the system makes me give it so. In my headspace it is Minus 5 Stars.

This guys are truly underrated in the alt rock scene - give Paul Leary some props....

Definitely notable for being this weird and intense in 1987, but I think looking at it with a modern lens it definitely feels a bit juvenile at points. I'm all for weird experimental music, but so much of this feels weird just to be weird without trying to also be good.

This is pretty shouty, noisy, wild and I'm not sure I would say essential?

Thai song saves this one

This sounds identical to the motorcycle that is currently going off across the street

It's weird, and oppressive, and murky, and very noisy. I'm not really sure what they're going for here. There's not really that many succinct, actual songs. It all kind of bleeds into one loud mess. Weird.

I’m… uh… let’s go with a 3.

I don’t know that I’ve ever had less words for an album after listening to it; it’s not that I think this is bad. If anything, its eccentricities, its cacophonies, and all of its intentionally delivered flaws and oddities make it one of the more captivating of the 209 albums we’ve gotten so far, for better or for worse. I truly don’t think this album ever lost me in terms of being attentive and aware.

It completely fucking lost me somewhere in the middle in terms of my own personality, invaded my brain, and simply replaced me with a new man somewhere by the end. This album is a goddamn acid trip on a runaway train that, while you know it’s going entirely off the rails, you are sat down as if this thing is taking you to the destination that you don’t even know you want to go to.

I truly cannot describe the intricacies of this album; it is a complete enigma, and I somehow feel rejuvenated and confused at the same time after listening to it. I may never know quite what overcame me after a single listen, but I… think I enjoyed it. It’s a 3. It’s a very weird 3. It is worth a listen, if only to experience whatever sensation I just felt.

I hope there's more of them on here wow

America's freakiest freaks come from the south.

Als je de hoes, de albumtitel en zeker de bandnaam ziet, weet je al genoeg.

Rated 5/10

Cute, but trying too hard

Rated 2/10

wtf is this shit

Rated 6/10

This album was ok. I appreciated the experimental nature of the music and the sampling. I may try to listen again, but for now: 2.7/5 -> 3/5.

Be sure n tell her, SATAN

Rated 4/10

A couple of these songs are actually pretty decent - I liked Sweat Loaf and Graveyard pt 2, for example. Some if the others are fairly hard going though, like The O-men. This is a two, but it's on the upper end of it - I was quite tempted to score as a three.

Want to like this much more than I did

Rated 4/10

Mjoo, olihan se levy eikä omaperäisyyden puutteesta voi syyttää. Osa biiseistä tosin vaikuttaa enemmän siltä, että halutaan tahallaan ärsyttää kuulijaa. 2/5.

Rated 6/10

Was expecting to hate this album, given the name of the band and the low rating on this sight, pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed a lot of the noise aspects of this album, actually holds together pretty well, given this is different to all the Brit pop and 60s rock/pop bloating this list, I believe this deserves its place on the list, just not quiet up to the standards of Sonic Youth or Pixies in making noise rock. 3 stars.
