Been meaning to listen to these for 40 years. I wish I hadn't waited. I would have loved them even more in my teens.
Rated 6/10
Very interesting stuff! The fact that all the instrumentation besides drums is sampled really lends a unique air to it. It sounds like metal, but somehow off in a really neat way. I'm not as huge on the vocals but they aren't unlistenable either.

not very good but at least it's not in english

After listening to L'Eau Rouge, I am just here questioning why this album isn't considered metal because it had some very heavy moments. I also found that this album felt very experimental with all of the cinematic sounds. And that's what I love about this album. The album was so experimental and crazy it made it fun to listen to as well as having no song sound the same. They each felt like a whole different trip. This album might not be for everyone but i still think its very good
Best Song: Rue des tempetes
Worst Song: La fille de la mort

Hell yeah. 3.4

A group and album Iv never heard of, this was interesting both in soundscape and French vocals. Glad I listened and deserves its place on the list, but not sure I’ll be rushing back.

dude what in the hell? Rue des Tempetes rocks. The title track is cool. It oscillated between like motorhead style metal and french cafe music in a post apocalyptic steampunk universe. I can see this music scratching a very very specific itch.
Rated 2/10
Not good. I don't love really like industrial generally, and this is even really bad industrial. 1.5/5

Wonderfully insane French rambling nonsense - I loved it! Hundreds of different styles and feelings, all with a cheeky nod to silliness. Great fun, and a great album
Rated 6/10
This feels like it was made when people were still working out how to use samples. It's interesting and I'm sure it pushed things forward a bit, but it's just not always that listenable.

¿En francés? ¿De Suiza? Los pocos oyentes de Spotify no prometen mucho y el hecho de que en la wikipedia lo principal del álbum sea que está en esta lista de 1001 discos no suele ser buena señal. Me lo he escuchado y hasta he repetido alguna canción. Vamos que se puede oír una vez en la vida y ya.

Arrêtez le bateau, je veux descendre.
Un chef-d'œuvre? Mon cul saigne!
Rated 2/10
This is a weird album. Couple of songs in the beginning sound like they could be at place at a circus, then it turns industrial. But I don't think I liked any of it.
Rated 4/10
Literally none of this left an impact on me. Is it loud and abrasive? Yes, but none of it actually struck a chord with me, for better or worse. There's parts that sound like Tom Waits, but when this guy does it, it feels gross, not interesting. I don't hate this enough for a one star, but I wish stuff like the string samples were used more interestingly.

I wish I had better speakers for metal. The frenchness and the intro were nice, don't know that I'll be listening again.
Rated 6/10
Ei genre kyllä oikein aukea, mutta sen verran kiinnostava enkä osaa varsinaisia virheitä sanoa, että pitää varmaan se 3 antaa.

Rated 4/10
One of the lowest rated albums on the list and I can definitely see why. It's not so much the music style that bothers me so much as it's the singer's constant gutteral singing/shouting that turns me off. Though I must say, their choice of samples doesn't help matters much. An incredibly melodramatic sound. Hasn't really aged well - especially the way the drums are recorded. I made it 8 tracks in before having a genuine urge to stop listening. Kept going despite my better judgement and wasn't rewarded for my patience with any pleasant surprises. I will say they are very consistent in what they do.

quite good yet put me in a really sour mood
