Great songs/performances with more than a few classics.
Rated 6/10
Exodus was a pretty decent album. This is only the second reggae album that i have listened yet i don't have a whole lot to say about it. The songs here are all pretty pleasant listens with no outright awful sounding stuff but that's all it kinda is. There is nothing about any of these songs that stands out as really good or really bad, It's just mainly mid tier stuff. I will admit that the transition From So Much Things To Say to Guiltiness was pretty sudden and abrupt but it doesn't really change my opinion of this album all that much. This is a perfectly fine album and that's all i can say.
Best Song: The Heathen
Worst Song: So Much Things To Say

One of the best of all time. First half is cool ass reggae. Second half is just incredible. What a run of songs! Its almost a Best of Reggae mini album. Waiting In Vain is in my personal top ten (maybe 5) songs of all time.
5 stars, an absolute pleasure to listen to this.

The groove is irresistible and the message is inspirational no matter how many times I hear it.

This isn't an album, it's a party.

Chill and jammin' vibes!

Sehr stilsicheres Reggae Album mit guten aber nicht spektakulären Songs „Natural Mystic“, „Exodus“, „Jamming“ und natürlich dem Highlight „One Love“. Rauchen und Wiederhören sind von nun an legalisiert.
Rated 10/10
Absolute reggae perfection. Such a chill record. Three Little Birds is my favorite Bob Marley song. Always puts me in a good mood.
Favourite songs: Three Little Birds, One Love/People Get Ready, Jamming, Natural Mystic, So Much Things to Say, The Heathen, Exodus, Guiltiness,
Least favourite songs: Turn Your Lights Down Low

It would be easy to focus on the hits but the album as a whole is outstanding. No filler or duds, it shows why Bob Marley is such a legend.

Great album. Oddly, I don't like the first and last tracks but everything in between is sublime. It isn't perfect but I'm going to give it 5 stars for what it is able to accomplish in terms of renovating my whole mood today. Thanks Bob and company.

Pretty nice to listen to.
Standout tracks: Turn Your Lights Down Low, Three Little Birds, One Love / People Get Ready

This one was soo good. Been a long time since I heard something this good on the list. Not THE strongest 5 star on my page but still I don’t think there’s a better reggae album coming up.
Sounded much better than the last I heard from him. Maybe could’ve skipped the one slow track but all is good. A perfect way to spend 37 minutes

I liked it. The hits are the best songs in my opinion, but most of the others are good too. Not every song was amazing though, there’s a few I wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to again.

That's reggae! Very cool. A great album. I've never listened to it in full before. Now I remember why I actually like reggae. Peter Tosh's album from this series didn't convince me. But this album is great. I find it remarkable that the first 10 tracks only make up about half of the album. The last 2 12" tracks are great. The long version of Jamming in particular already has clear DUB elements, which I really like.

vähemmän offensiivista reggaeta, vaikka ei vieläkään mikään mulle aukeava genre. 3/5

When I was listening to track #3, I had to wonder what the fuzz is all about... the first 3 songs fit perfectly on the soundtrack of a '70s porn flick.
Then Exodus starts playing, and the rest was just a lovely blur!
Rated 6/10
I was pleasantly surprised by the deeper cuts on this one. Heathen and Waiting in vain were great tracks. My hatred towards Three little birds and One love bumps this down significantly though, can’t stand these don’t worry be happy-esque reggae songs.

I'm not really a huge fan of reggae in general, but how could you possibly dislike this?
Some absolute classics, and the remaining tracks are more than good enough.

I'm only sort of casually familiar with Bob Marley. I mean I know all the songs that everyone knows and have heard a few of his albums randomly over the years. I've always really dug his music but never felt the need to go out and actively listen to it all. I really liked this album, it's a total mood album. Always glad to hear Jamming, that's probably been my favorite song of his since I first heard it. The rhythms in his music are so great. I don't know what it is but it just makes you sort of relax a bit, and that's funny to say because a lot of his songs are about such serious topics - poverty, oppression, spirituality, revolution, and just general struggles of Jamaica. Great music to sort of just have on in the background when you're doing other things but still fun to sit and really listen.
This specific album has a lot going for it - great sound and production, interesting instrumentation, brilliant lyrics and signing. It's super tight but sort of loose and free at the same time. I love how some of it is almost like a reggae/funk fusion. 3.75/5
