Nothing great about it.

90s electro sound. Is okay to run in the background, but nothing crazy in my opinion

Hieman vanhentuneelta kuulostavaa elektroa. Ei huonokaan! 3/5

No thanks. I think this is makes a pretty strong case that there are not in fact 1000 albums that are essential to listen to before you die.

It's tough for 90s dance music albums in this thing. I don't think they were ever meant to be listened to with the chin stroking intensity invited by most of the other inclusions. You were meant to dance to them or even just individual tracks as part of a DJ set, or maybe have them on in the background at a party or a bar. Also they are very much of their time which I see is something plenty people cannot forgive. I guess nothing dates so much as old visions of the future.
I think 90s dance music deserves a spot on the list even if i disagree with some of the choices. I think this one has way more invention, dynamics and melody than the more popular Big Beat albums that cluttered up the other end of the 90s.

Milli Vanili meets New Order meets The KLF. But nowhere as good as that sounds. I wasn’t here for this first time round, so it feels like there is a bit of a nostalgia factor at play in people’s enjoyment of this which I won’t pooh-pooh but it just sounds boring and annoying to me. Multiple songs sound like parody music. I hope this isn’t what they were playing at the Hacienda!

It was quite fun but too long for this genre. Became repetetive after some time.

I liked some of it. 666 Edit was quite ok, but every song has at least one thing that annoys me....
Rated 8/10
En-Tact was a pretty surprisingly enjoyable album for what it was. For some reason, i have an odd affinity with this type of weird electronic music and this album really showed me just how much i have it. The beats were super catchy in a lot of the songs and many of them had cool enough elements that i didn't get bored of it, even with a 65 minute runtime. Granted, not all of the songs are perfect as some of them have elements that i just didn't really like which made me wish the album cut them out. There was not a single song i really hated though so this album remains a really good one in my eyes.
Best Song: 666 Edit
Worst Song: Lightspan Soundwave

Sub Mid 90s rave music, US version at least had "Move Any Mountain" but this one did not.

Listening to this album you can really hear the Shamen move from psychedelic rock into a new rave sound.
I really enjoyed move any mountain, what a great song to start the album. Its an OK album but not one I would want to listen to again Its avergage. I have no idea how it made the list.
Favourite song: Move and mountain and Hyperreal orbit
Least favourite: Omega Amigo
Album artwork: Standard album cover

Electronic club music from the 90’s. Feels odd to just sit and listen to it for this project. Wasn’t meant for that.
Bumping, certainly would get me on the dance floor.

I really disliked this a lot more than I though I would. I was actually thinking I might enjoy this, due to the first single of this album.
But I really really didn't
