Not their best. Too experimental and just got bogged down a bit.

Rated 6/10

This is just an all around solid psychedelic folk record full of great harmonies and interesting sonic experiments that never felt out of place. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one, but probably not going to return to it ever.

Rated 6/10

Some pretty run of the mill 60s folk/psychedelic rock.

Rated 4/10

More like The Notorious Bad Brothers

I was disappointed in this one because I've enjoyed their previous stuff. This was weird though and not in a good way

Very boring and nothing stuck out to me. I was just counting down the minutes waiting for it to end

like kinda cool I guess???? idk it was a little fun but also very reminiscent of everything else that was coming out at the time in that field. i guess it's just your standard byrds album

Does not contain "Turn, Turn, Turn"

CSN yesterday, Byrds today, 1001AG must think I need David Crosby in my life now....

Rated 4/10

I found this really dull. I think it has aged a lot and just didn't hold me interest

Rated 8/10

This was so much better than I thought. I thought Id skip this one after the first few songs but actually this just sounds really good. Low 4

Rated 4/10

More hippy shite from The Byrds - my tolerance for this was pretty low today. Some of it not too bad I suppose; there was one song I thought was pretty decent, but I can't remember which one, and I'm not going to listen to them all again just to find out.

Vähän heikoksi jäävä genrekavalkadi.

Rated 4/10

Classic 60s sound. It’s ok but nothing really sticks out.

Rated 4/10

I had never heard this before, but wasn't feeling it. Seems pretty dated. Perhaps the most interesting track, even if it is not great, is the Moog instrumental.

Rated 8/10

Gerne mal wieder.

Rated 6/10

I thought from the album cover we were going to get something less psychedelic than their prior two albums, but save for some country influence that'll become a lot more apparent on the next album this is still pretty trippy at points. That means a lot of perfectly okay psychedelic rock songs that don't really do anything to blow me away, nor is there anything obviously poor. It's just another album from the era for me, and it is obvious at this point that most of the other rock groups from the time are outdoing the Byrds at what was originally their own game. It's alright, but as time passes and the necessary classics shift and change, this one fades from view.

Rated 8/10

I'm a sucker for 60s psych rock, what can I say. This album is very spacey and chill, while still having enough energy to keep it open. I love the ethereal vocals and guitar.

Rated 8/10

I liked this way more than expected. Definitely a bit derivative from the psychedelic albums that came out the year previous but definitely a different spin on the sound.

Rated 6/10

This was a breath of fresh air after some of the garbage this list has served me lately. Thank you, Croz
