GueroBeck

Yeah i don't know what to think about this one. For one, I'm angry for 3 Beck inclusions, but then again, after listening to the whole album, this isn't so baad. Like a mid 3. Probably not gonna listen to it again, but there were some pretty good tracks on here.

Murica again. Nice stories and all, but nothing extra for me. I think this is just the culture difference. I’m sure i could enjoy this more if i were american

Didn't know he was silly goofy like that. Technically amazing for sure, but I think some other people do the funny better with technically amazing music. Hearing about and seeing this album all over the place, I was expecting a little more. Good time, but probably won't really revisit

This was an awesome listen. Probably not gonna keep listening to it, but a great addition to the 90s grrlls playlist. Curious to hear other stuff from them.

I was very much looking forward to listening to this as i LOOVE Loveless. This really sounds like the demos before Loveless. That aside, this is a more easy listen for most people and for most moods I think. Some song elements are pretty rough, but the sound is amazing here too. God damn this shields guy knows how to make guitars sound ethereal

Hpnestly, i still find the guy’s voice annoying, even though in general i like singers with this tone of voice, like Thom
York, but he just sounds like a 10 year old choir boy, who tries to sing after crying for an hour. That being said, this is probably as good as he gets. I’d have still given it a strong 3 altogether, if it wasnt for the incredible sound/mixing of this record, like wow. Even on worse gear, this one shines.
