I'd always heard this was incredible, but can't say it clicked with me. Flute generally annoys me, even when played well, it had no bite, and just seemed very dated and... dull? Slightly cross with myself as I know this is a beloved album! I'll round up to a 3 as there was nothing wrong with it.

Really, really good! I went in expecting a subdued singer songwriter with no other musicians, which can be a slog unless you're Nick Drake... nope, this was a really enjoyable, fun album that I'll come back to! :)

I feel like this might be one of my favourite things - not even having to study it at uni could kill it :) Definitely the sum of its parts though, it flows really nicely together

It wasn't kid rock, but I hurt my jaw gritting my teeth getting through this. I understand it sold well, but wow it felt tailor-made to be annoying.
