I do rather love Fairport Convention

I'm going to surprise myself and rate this 80s pop album high - I thoroughly enjoyed it, it didn't sound like a casio keyboard demo and I liked it lots! :)

Yay! This was on my "to listen" list, and this was a great excuse to hear it! Really cool music, weird but melodic, and I wouldn't bat an eyelid if it came out last week :)

It's kind of its own thing - I appreciate that a lot! :) Glad to have heard it fully at last.

Made me miss the white stripes! :)

I rather enjoyed this one! Very great singles I already liked, and then some great new things to enjoy - bass in "that's entertainment" surprised me as this was first time hearing it on headphones! :)

Really did not expect this to be such a fun listen! Happy to have heard it!

Despised by everyone on 1001's reviews? Likened to Devo, David Bowie and Can in said reviews? I had very high hopes, and was instead kind of... well this is some vaguely Echo and the Bunnymen 80s music.. it did nothing for me and just sounded like background noise.

Solid, preferred some other hip-hop albums on here but rounding up as 3* seemed very stingy for something that I enjoyed! :)

Definitely the best Prince album so far! :) Had a bit more substance, still very 80s, but that's okay! :)

This is always a fun sprint! :) It's not a party unless slayer is snuck onto the playlist

Magic weird music - never heard anything like it

Not even finished this album yet but have already had so much fun from it. Really, really great music that I'm chuffed to have heard! :) Yay for new discoveries! :)

Ooh I didn't know some of these songs were from this band and album but knew them! :) Good music, fun :)

Not sure how much I actually enjoyed this! It was a lot more repetitive than I remembered - I love electronic music that evolves gradually, but this didn't get me today! Giving it another star in case it's a monday mood thing lol! :)

Unexpectedly enjoyed! :) Extra star for this suprise

Really enjoyed this! And reward is also a great song! Reminded me of the radio being on as a youngling

Truly the coolest bass parts I've heard in ages :)

I enjoyed the mood it had!

I liked this initially, but it was pretty bloated and likely much better live, it dragged? Great bass parts though!
